We are regulars on the Salisbury rail trail. It extends from Seabrook NH all the way to Newburyport for about 3+ miles. It is very wooded and has good shade. There is a dog park, a new skateboard park, playing fields and a children’s playground. The trail is mostly paved, however there are areas that are gravel. It is very scenic walking through the marsh area and there are birds all around you. People walk, run and ride bikes. It gets continuous use and is maintained by volunteers. You can park at Seabrook, the Salisbury Elementary School, Lions Park or at the end of Bridge Road.

A lovely walk mainly along the route of an abandoned railway. Passes through woodland, alongside marshy areas and open areas. Nice wide paths.
Plenty of birdlife and chipmunks, squirrels etc.
Well worth the walk and exercise!

Beautiful, convenient, easy parking, and not overly crowded. A great way to have a lovely, inexpensive day.

We have been on this trail many times and enjoy it.
It is paved the entire way and is an easy flat walk.
There are views of woods and marsh.
There is free parking at the southern end near the bridge to Newburyport. It can get crowded at times.
This is a good outing--a good leisurely walk.

Take it from the Newburyport Garrish bridge and have a tranquil walk through the marsh. It's amazing!

In need of a few hours out of the house and outdoors for some much needed daily exercise. This trail is a gem. Located behind rte 110 I find this to be the boost in my everyday activities. Safely travelled by many I find the Salisbury Ghost Trail an essential way to pick it up a notch in an endurance builder. Cool also to see the wildlife. Frequently the woodpeckers are noticeable.

Beautiful place to walk, bike, bring the little ones or the pup. Goes on for quite a long ways and I believe it'll get longer as the years go on as they build.

85 Degree day and we decided to ride our bikes at Plum Island, but that was closed. Came across this trail while in the area and really was happy we did! It is mostly shade, well kept trails. If you continue on one side it ends at Lion's Park and that offers bathrooms (well they were open on this day since baseball games were being held.) Fun facts on the trains that used this area.

One of my favorite trails for either walking, jogging or biking. Very scenic from Salisbury to Newburyport. Beats the main roads and the views of the marsh are breathtaking. Couple places to go off to a trail or ice cream. Great for all including families.
