Our first visit to this farm. I had read about a mile walk through the farm to see home made fairy & Gnome homes. It was a rainy day but we had boots on . Some of the homes were really creative and great while others were lame. But it was nice grounds and a really nice walk .Wasn't raining too heavy so we used umbrellas.I checked yes for animals as they did have a couple of chickens but that was all we saw. It cost $5 pp. They also had tents with wares that were being sold and food.

Great flowers and containers that are very creative. Staff very helpful. You will see things that you want to try. They do workshops such as flower box designs. Many flowers not seen in other green houses. Worth the trip just to get ideas, you will walk away with something!

great garden/nursery. Wonderful knowledgeable staff. Excellent choice of plants for your garden and plenty of garden accessories such as trellises and garden ornaments.

Love looking through the gardens and buying amazing plants. The owners of the farm have a way of making their displays look great! Very inspiring to a gardener.

We trekked up to Pettengill Farm for the Vintage Bazaar that they host several times during the year. While the weather was beautiful and the farm appears to be cute, anyone looking for actual vintage goods and antiques should beware. We were told that this was sort of a mini-Brimfield with more than 150 vendors selling antique goods, lots of food trucks and such. However, most of the vendors were selling what I would call arts and crafts -- jewelry, prints, mittens, fabric purses, welded lawn ornaments, etc. Some may have been crafted from old things -- chicken wire lampshades, decor made from old pitchforks, it was far more "vintagey" than vintage. There were only a handful of few food vendors plus the usual kettle corn and things along those lines.
There are worse ways to blow $7 and a couple hours on a nice early fall afternoon, but overall we found this event a let-down.

many options here for flowers and organic produce/eggs. The owners and staff are all very knowledgeable and helpful.

We had a wonderful time at the Vintage Bazaar last weekend. Sunny and 70 degrees with many exhibitors with interesting stuff. A number of food vendors and live music.
First time we have been and will return. Heads up that parking can get tricky as the lots do fill up, but we got lucky as someone left just as we arrived.

Visited today for the Vintage Fair. I did not think much of the fair since the "vintage" was "junk" that was repurposed to overpriced junk. I admit it took a lot of creative thinking to come up with some of the ideas but it was not my cup of tea.
The other vendors (crafts) were more to my liking but again way over priced.
The farm did offer free parking which is fabulous but since there was an admission fee anyway I suppose they just figured they would make their money that way.
The gardens were beautiful though and the plants exquisite. The plant prices were very fair. I have to say I have paid more for a plant in Home Depot and those were nowhere ear the quality of the plants available at Pettengill Farm. My only complaint about the Garden area was that there were very few workers to help and I had to ask for where to pay for my purchases.
I would make the trip back to the Farm for their plants but probably not for the Vintage Fair although hit was a lovely day for browsing and looking around.

My doctor recommended that I stop eating grains and grain fed dairy and chicken products. His office also spoke very highly of Pettingill farm and their grass fed products. I have been buying their fresh eggs and chickens for several months and I'm very impressed with quality. I've also met the owners who are passionate about their farm. The greenhouse is amazing. They have a unique selection of lovely plants and garden decorations. Definitely worth checking out.
