Two for the price of one with the Trustee's property abutting the larger and better Mass Audubon (MA) property, both easily accessible from either large lot.  We parked at the Trustee's where there was ample parking, clearly the MA lot/property was more full.     It would be nice if there were a little more signage between the two properties since they literally overlap at points.   Technically you should be a member of either/both organizations to enjoy the properties but parking was free.  We spent most time in the MA property so I will review that.   We have walked the Trustees property before and it's less exciting
Pros:
-Huge property with varied landscape
-Benches on the property to watch Blue Bird boxes in a field!
-Pastures and woods, several large/wide fire road-type trails
-Easily accessible views, but a noisy road isn't far away.
-No pets (and no poop bags) to disturb the wildlife, and we saw wildlife:  Woodpeckers, ducks, wild turkeys
Cons:
-Very poor map and confusing signage
-It makes no sense to me that there isn't a port-a-potty on either site, I mean there were dozens of people there for hours.  What are girls supposed to do?
-One very direct walk to the view, one requires like 6 turns and easily gets confusing without a map.

Moose Hill Farm is a Trustee site and considering that it is run by the Trustees organization some significant trail signage needs to be done. We were a group of 3 adults + 1 child (5 years old). We ended up trying 3 different trails, until we found the one we had initially planned on hiking (thank goodness for taking a photo at the beginning of the trail). Despite the poor (non existent) trail markers, it is a beautiful spot with rolling fields and some wooded areas. At one point, there is a gorgeous view of the Blue Hills. Plan on about a 2 hour (2.5 mile hike) if you don't know your way around. Would go back again in the spring and would definitely be interested if they have any special farm/friendly style events (Post COVID).

This reservation, the largest Audubon location in the country we were told, it just a short distance off route 95 between Boston and Providence. Great stop if you are needing to stretch your legs and the weather is nice. There is lots of free parking and at the Audubon house there are friendly staff, maps and clean bathrooms as well as a water bubbler. The farm is just down the road from the trails but we went just for the hiking. The trails WERE well marked whenever there was an intersection, otherwise just stay on the path and you will be okay. We did the bluffs trail and were treated to a nice panorama with Foxboro stadium in the distance. I would recommend hiking shoes; walking stick is not necessary. No pets are allowed.

We had planned to hike the Short Trail. Expected to be walking only 20 minutes! The signage was terrible and the map was worse! My hubby has been an assistant scoutmaster and this experience was terrible. We got horribly lost. We hiked for 90 minutes! I will never hike in an Audubon Park again! We love the outdoors and take a camera with us whenever we go on a trip. Sorry everyone. This is my first negative review but I feel so strongly about this place.

Visited here several times with my 3 year old granddaughter. We both love walking through the trails and discovering whatever happens along the path.

Each season brings different flora and fauna to life.

We will be back for sure.

Moose Hill is always a good place to go for a hike if you are in the Sharon area. The parking lot is usually large enough to handle all cars, but it can get busy on weekends. The information/gift shop is quaint with lot's of outdoor related products. You can get bird identification and other animal identification books and guides in the shop.

The trails are varied and can be challenging if you want them to be. The majority of trails are relatively flat with a few ups and downs. If you want to go to the overlook, that requires a bit more hiking, but you can be there in 10 minutes if you want.

What I've always enjoyed about Moose Hill was the diversity of terrain. You can walk through the old farm fields which are relatively flat and peaceful. Or, enter the thick New England forest full of grey lichen colored stones. Or, cross the street and follow the stream down into a pine forest before entering an oak and low bush blueberry area.

You can easily spend a few hours here appreciating what nature has to offer.

I enjoyed a pleasant early morning run in the woods and fields of the Reservation. There was a nice mix of wide double-track and narrow single-track trails. I spooked a deer on the powerlines trail. I also checked out the cool cellar hole, which are always interesting.

I used to love visiting this place until they decided to install electric fences around fields' perimeters. This doesn't feel welcoming to any family with young children.

Sharon has three great places to hike - Moose Hill Audubon Sanctuary, Borderlands, and Moose Hill Farm, which is a property of the Trustees of the Reservations. It is the former Kendall Farm, so it is mostly flat. The farmland is now a meadow and there are woods beyond. It is a very pleasant place to hike, but not challenging.

Recently made our first visit to this beautiful place. Even in January, there were a lot of other people, but it never felt crowded. There's an inviting visitors' center where we were pleasantly surprised to find an art show. Lots of trails for hikers at every level, and though we took a shorter one on this visit, we'll be back to try some of the others. Trails are well-maintained, and pass over hills, over wetlands, and through woods and open spaces. They also offer a variety of programs, including maple sugaring (we passed the sugar shack on our walk). Highly recommend Moose Hill for individual hikers or groups of any size.
