Who knew there was a vineyard and winery in Shrewsbury. Broken Creek is located fairly close to the intersection of routes 9 and 20, near the Westboro border, in a residential neighborhood. The winery blends well into the property. There is parking in front and some in back, though it does fill up quickly. Most wines are dry, though they serve slushies. My husband and I had glasses of wine, Traminette and Vidal. Both were made from estate grown grapes and quite smooth. I think feel the pours could have been a bit heavier. They do offer flights which include a souvenir glass. You may bring in your own food for a picnic. There is plenty of room inside for tastings, as well as a deck outside and picnic tables on the lawn. Many families were buying bottles and enjoying a leisurely meal. The winery is fully accessible, including the lawn area. It is very clean and welcoming. I would return.

Local hidden treasure. Found this place during the pandemic and really enjoyed our visit. This visit we had family visiting from out of state and we took them here knowing they would enjoy it, and they did. Love all the outdoor seating and the relaxed atmosphere. The staff have been friendly. We also really enjoy the wine selection.

My two friends and I decided to do a wine tasting one Saturday afternoon and where better than here. we arrived around 12:30 - 1PM, we all opted to try the 5 wines for $10.00. We tried the Rose, the Riesling, the Malbec, Zinfandel and Maddie's rescue . After that, we each had a glass of the Malbec. We brought our lunch with us, it was a great experience. can't wait to go again. One of my friends actually went to the Harvesting. she said that that was a great experience, from harvesting the grapes to picking through the grapes and pressing them. The place is beautiful. Great find.

My friend and I made plans to get our nails done and when that was accomplished we sat in the parking lot trying to decide what to do. Though she is not a wine drinker she wanted to go to a winery near my house...but we were near her house. After a bit of Googling we discovered Broken Creek’s website and off we went. For $10 we sampled 5 different wines (1 oz pour ea) and got a Broken Creek wine glass. My favorites...Summer White and the Malbec. We then got a beverage and sat out on the back porch to enjoy a little bit of the day.
Lovely place, good wine, great knowledgeable staff! Check it out if you love local wines!

I loved the intimacy of this winery! You are made to feel welcome from the moment you walk in the door. Gorgeously decorated winery with knowledgeable and friendly staff. Great price - $10 for 5 tastings. Picturesque scenery in the back with picnic tables and seating. Bring your own snacks and enjoy!

Broken Creek Winery is tucked away so you many not have noticed it but it's worth looking for. I experienced my first wine tasting there recently and really enjoyed it. For $10 you get a Broken Creek Winery wine glass and sample five different wines of your choosing. Since it was November, we were inside by the fire in one of their two rooms suitable for small or large groups. There's also a large deck and picnic tables for outdoor seating. I'm not a wine connoisseur but all the wines were very good! We brought our own lunch and spent several hours there. If you are in the area, check it out!

With a hint of Fall in the air, we set out in search of a winery we hoped would be a hidden gem! Broken Creek Vineyards totally met our expectations. Easily accessible by highway, tucked away on a quiet country road makes this location perfect. Inside the barn are two spacious tasting rooms with high top seating and farm table seating for larger groups. If visiting on a cold day the fireplace is an added feature. However when visiting on that perfect fall day, sitting on the outdoor deck offers great views of the vineyard. If packing your own picnic lunch when going to a vineyard is your style then you’re in luck as there were several picnic tables available too. We were warmly greeted by Eric, the owner, when we arrived. After telling him this was our first time at Broken Creek, he took the time to describe their wines in detail (even though a description of each is provided at the tasting bar). Our favorite was the Chardonnay (which was a total surprise since typically this is not our preference) and we also bought the Zinfandel, our favorite of the reds. We will definitely return to Broken Creek Vineyard, perhaps next time when there is a chill in the air and the fireplace is burning. Thanks Eric for your hidden gem of vineyards!

Lovely setting. Tables available for sipping and BYOL (bring your own lunch). We visited on a Sunday afternoon, brought our own snacks and enjoyed a local wine.

This vineyard is a wonderful, serene, experience. I have been to many vineyards, this is the nicest in all possible ways. It starts with the aroma of scented candles when you enter, then you notice the soft music. The tasting room looks out over a pastoral scene, the vines in neat rows against a green forest backdrop in the spring. All that can be heard outside are the sounds of nature. The owner and helper are very pleasant and knowledgeable, the wines are all very good. There is nothing for sale but the wine, no cheap souvenirs, tee shirts or hats, just fine wine. I fear that this winery is so pleasant it will soon be overrun with too many patrons, but for now, it is a hidden gem.
