A 15 mile bike trip from Broad St.
We took the Milestone Road which has a dedicated bike path most of way until you are just about in the quaint town of Siasconset. Loved this little town.
We left at 9:30am and traffic wasn’t bad.
On the way back we took the Polpis Bike Path. When we got back to town traffic was heavy and we actually went around and followed side streets.
The lighthouse history is documented well at the sight. The bluffs are interesting and there’s signs about erosion.

Beautiful iconic lighthouse. I combined seeing this lighthouse with a walk down the Sconset Bluff Walk. Walking the bluff to the lighthouse was maybe 2 miles, pretty easy flat enjoyable walk. Note parking here is very limited, so it worked out well to get a Uber out to the start of the Bluff Walk and then get picked up at the lighthouse. I felt both the Bluff Walk and lighthouse were classic Nantucket sites and both worth seeing as it was nice to get off the main harbor/downtown where we were spending most of our time.

Absolutely beautiful area- Siasconset is a bit out of the way, but we thoroughly enjoyed walking through the neighborhood to see the lighthouse. The lighthouse & surrounding area are stunning. Highly recommend!

We biked out to Sconset per the Polpis Road bike path and saw this lighthouse from the road overlooking the golf course, and it was majestic from that viewpoint. As we left Sconset, we biked down Baxter Road to see this lighthouse up close, and it did not disappoint. Very easy access and a short walk from the bike rack to see this well preserved beautiful lighthouse. There is history there to read and see. Glad we took some time to see this Nantucket landmark.

A great drive out there. We got lucky, there was parking, very tight circle. Again, the views were terrific.

Who could go to Nantucket and not visit this iconic piece of Nantucket history? Quite difficult to get to but worth the effort.

You're in Nantucket, you have to see all the lighthouses, what else is there to say? Hard to get enough words for a review, but this island is small enough that you can visit each lighthouse. Why wouldn't you?

Beautiful spot, great view of the ocean and neighboring golf course. Head to the village after this to see quintessential Nantucket charm.

The lighthouse was great to see. You can’t go inside and the light house is a little ways off the path but I would recommend taking the bus to get there, it was a scenic ride that also takes you into town on another side of Nantucket. We loved walking the sconset bluff path to get to the light house and taking the bus back. There were even some darling children selling lemonade at a house near the lighthouse along the walk.
