great place to see performances

small theater with excellent sight lines. comfortable. good amenities. parking very close in a garage fitted with lights that denote open spaces. a total pleasure to see a production at this venue.

Does not seem like there is a bad seat in the house

New modern theatre. We saw Oliver there - the production was excellent. Seats were spaced so you could see the stage. Sound quality was good. Will be back to see HAIR in a few weeks.

Intimate Theater

The theater is small and intimate. No seat is far from the stage. Have loved some of the plays and found others so so.

A great old/new place

Have seen numerous plays and shows. Able to accommodate a good size crowd in an intimate setting.
Seats are a bit tight for my 6'3" husband. Handicapped seating off to the side...it is a round theater feel so a bit hard to see all.

Excellent concert and theater venue

We've been here a number of times for concerts and performances by the New Repertory Theater. It's an excellent venue -- a modern theater, all the seats are good as are the acoustics (appreciated by me, hearing-impaired.) They have amplification gadgets for people with hearing worse than mine. The theater is up a long-ish flight of stairs, but there's an elevator.

Great theatrical pieces and parking is FREE and plentiful!

I've seen many performances at this theatre (mainstage and black box) and for the most part, they are outstanding! Great views from any seat in the mainstage house and black box theatre is so intimate, it's fantastic. Top notch performers always!

Thurgood

One man tour de force by Johnny Lee Davenport as Thurgood Marshall from childhood in Baltimore to Supreme Court Justice. Enlightening, disturbing, hopeful. Brought back many memories of the those turbulent issues and times that have not yet been resolved. Mr. Davenport is/was superb and I would not hesitate to go back. Play extended a week - do yourself a favor and go see it.

FRIENDLY AND FUN THEATER

We love this theater! Always interesting performances with interesting crowd, easy to get in and out, away from Boston traffic. Good Latino restaurant with lovely ambience and food is next door and a great pre- show hang out. All together it's always a lovely evening!

Boston Midsummer Opera

Wonderful performances of "Love Italian Style" operas the weekend of July 22-24. Intimate venue, good acoustics, comfortable seating and not a bad seat in the house.
