Great atmosphere, owner is knowledgeable and friendly. Some really unique wines to try. We will definitely go back and recommend to friends.

She went out of her way to talk about each wine and it's history as it related to Gaylord. She was very friendly and obviously, passionate about her business. She relayed many helpful hints for our son who is looking to start a related business in Southern Michigan. I would go back again!

I get that the state recently opened back up and things weren't back to full swing. However, we went in for a tasting and there was a limited selection available, mostly reds, one dry white, and one rose. Not everyone likes red. When you are offering a limited selection for tasting it should be more even balanced. We felt the person there didn't have the right personality for the business. We have been to MANY wineries and seen all kinds of people working at them. This person was very harsh and pushy. Kept trying to push the reds even after we told them repeatedly that we don't like/want them

A wine tasting room serving wines from 3 location. 1 near Indian River, 1 near Alpena, and lastly 1 from Florida. Yup you read that right, Florida. You get 1 free pour or 6 for $8 and a free glass. My serves ended up being a mixed bag. I didn't like 2, thought 2 as ok, and 2 as good. However I didn't love any. The person I was with liked 3 enough to buy a bottle. So a mixed bag. The service was good and friendly. Overall 4 stars.

The wine flight was very reasonably priced and we were able to sample some excellent wines. The hostess was very friendly and we are glad we stopped in!

What a wonderful place. So much fun and great value. $5:00 per person gives you 5 wine tasting of your choice and then they give you a souvenir wine glass. So many cute things to buy like flags wine carriers and great cheeses. It was really really fun. Would not hesitate to go back or recommend

Cassie & Mike run such a Wonderful business. Every time I go in there they are so helpful and nice. They have really unique wines and accessories. Every year I buy a number of Christmas presents there. My family downstate always ask for things from The Rusty Pelican...

We had some samples of fruit wines, did not plan to buy, but ended with two bottles or orange and key lime wines. They are very tasty! Do stop in for a try!
