We visit this place every summer, sometimes two or three times and we always have the best time. Great selection at the snack bar-excellent popcorn! The night sky is so beautiful on a clear night! A few times we have gone there have been shooting stars which makes watching the movie even more fun! Overall a fantastic and fun family or couples night out! Plan to be up really late...but that is also when the sky is the most beautiful!

We went on a Tuesday evening, and were surprised by how busy it was! We had a spot in the last row (because of a rooftop luggage carrier), but had no problems seeing the screen. The boys sat on the tailgate, and the adults brought a pair of lawn chairs. Affordable snacks, drinks, and clean restrooms. Such a gem in a quaint little town. Be sure to have dinner at the nearby Cherry Hut!

So much fun! Our family really enjoyed this experience; and it is an experience. Arrived 2 hours before movies started. Played frisbee. Could have played mini putt. Room to roam. This place has been restored to 1950's drive-in theatre perfection. Their concessions are outstanding. Huge variety. Bathrooms are super clean. $10/person for movie price. If your kids have not experienced a true drive-in; get them there. It is worth it and a great family experience. You can't go wrong.

This was my family's first ever time at a drive in theater--mine since I was kid. The staff were friendly and answered all of my many questions. Kids 12 and under are no charge so for 2 new release movies if you can stay awake its a good deal. Movies don't start until dark (10pm summertime). You could bring in your own snacks or buy at the snack bar, we brought blankets, pillows and beach chairs and opened up the back of our mini van so the kids could lay and watch the movie. There is an intermission between the two movies if you want to leave, get more snacks, etc. There were families who had air mattresses they inflated, there were camp chairs, and others sat in their vehicles. You may want a flashlight for trip to the bathroom. Box office opens at 7:30p which is quite a bit of time before movie actually starts. There is a playground and putt putt golf which we did not use. If you are looking for surround sound and perfect digital experience this may not be what you want, however if you want a fun experience try it. There was even a staff member helping with jumper cables at the end of the second movie for anyone who needed it. A fun up north experience!

So much fun to watch movies here. Kids 12 and under are free, all others are only $10.00. Great concession stands and fun atmosphere. Fun for everyone! We come every summer!

Bring $ to putput golf or for snacks, or a vollyball to play for while you wait for dark to come. Blankets, bug spray, pillows, and or fold up chairs to get comfortable for movie experience. There is a wonderful old school charm to this place. Take a nap earlier in the day so you can stay for both movies without falling asleep lol. The staff is friendly and the grounds are clean. Bathrooms are in need of updates, but they work and have soap!

When visiting up north we try a get to a movie here at least once during our visit. My wife and I enjoy the nostalgia of the place along with the double feature and throwback cartoons and concession stand. The only downside is since you are on the back edge of eastern time zone the first movie starts late (10 -10:30) which makes for a very late night once the second movie is over. Can be a challenge to stay awake. Rest up kids we're going to the drive-in tonight!

The Cherry Bowl Drive-In is so much fun! They have kept it very retro, complete with a concession stand that serves the old favorites. Something different to do and a great price for a double feature!

We went to go see despicable me 3 with our 5 year old and it was such a great time. The movie started around 10:30 and was done about 12:00. It was a late night but a great way to spend a Saturday evening. You can listen through the radio in your car. The concession stand is great and not overly priced. There are bathrooms and port a potties and even a play ground for the kids. Get there early for a spot.

Many bad reviews on the Cherry Bowl Drive Inn have to do with a first time bad experience or Problems with technology. Drive Inns have been threatened to close recently because of costly prices to keep up with good technology. This Drive Inn has been open since the 1950's so if your not into the vintage vibe, or sometimes " the crappy speakers" than you have to realize its mostly fashioned off the olden days, its not going to be a 10/10 speakers or 100% great HD screen. And thats the way its supposed to be. The playground and mini golf is perfect for children, and theres even a dog park for your canines. You can pull up in your vehicle, and jam out to some old school Elvis, watch some 50's drive inn commercials, and relax inside or outside your vehicle to watch a terrific movie. Just make sure to bring your bug spray :P

The movies only happen Friday and Saturday night due to the fact the Drive Ins and family environment and school happens during the week.
Im not 100% positive but i believe they may open more nights during the summer.

Cherry Bowl can tell you as it changes with the sunset. It started for us around 1015pm for the first one
