Beautiful store, plenty of room, handicapped accessible and great attutude by female owner. Accomodating and knowledgable. No craziness as previous reviewer noted. Store in compliance with laws with masks and distancing which keeps economy going. Great variety of antiques espe. mid centuiry modern. Lots of reasonable finds. Will return in future years.

A group of 4 of us wanted to shop there, but were not allowed in because one of us is disabled and unable to wear a mask, the other 3 were all wearing masks, so all of us were complying with the Governor’s COVID orders! The clerk said (the place was empty other than us) she would have to provide him with proof of her medical history, a violation of HIPAA laws, or wear a mask which could cause her death. The store had what she came to buy in full view, so definitely at least one purchase was intended, but instead we all left because of this discrimination against her breathing disability.

Stopped at Gaslight Antiques and looked over the shop. The woman was very friendly and helpful. They had a very nice variety of items from jewellery to furniture. Will stop here on my next trip north.

It is interesting to see examples of and learn about furniture made in Northern Michigan, e.g., Rittenhouse. They had a nice selection and are very knowledgeable about the items.
