WE were very disappointed on the amount of people they let in on a Saturday it was so crowded if we did not hold our four-year-old hand they would get knocked over by unruly children. Lifeguards are useless price is $44 per person I think they could at least paint their pool fix the Rottenwood, we only made it two hours and left.

Stayed here and enjoyed the water park with our grandkid.
Rooms were very clean. A little worn from use, but comfortable.
The water park was fun. Well attended with lifeguards. It was midweek, so it wasn't busy. We had a blast for a couple of hours there

This is going to be a long one but I’ll sum it up real quick before I go into detail….
This isn’t the cheapest best budget friendly trip you will ever take but for our family it was worth it! Money well spent and many memories made! So if it’s a special occasion just do it!
Now for anyone who likes long in depth reviews….
Our family of 4 with 2 kids ages 13 & 11 originally planned on only staying one night and two days. We were going to celebrate a birthday and the prices were a little high I’m not going to lie. But it was a special occasion and so we decided to do it. I’m SO glad we did!
Our kids had a blast and so did we! It was so much fun in the waterpark making memories and laughing with our kids! We didn’t want to leave by the time it was over so I went and asked the front desk to see if we could extend our stay another night.
I worked with Shawn and he was absolutely amazing and helped so much! We weren’t able to afford the online price for an extra night so he worked with me to help us be able to stay! I was lucky to get a first responder discount (I am an EMT) and we were able to stay another night and that included wristbands for the waterpark the next day!
Shawn really did go above and beyond for us to be able to celebrate our sons 11th birthday and make it the “best birthday ever!”
Now I won’t lie, the hotel is not without flaws…
Our shower turned into a bath because the drain didn’t work properly and the size of the TV in our room was laughable. There were red fruit punch stains on the carpet and yes the metal on the doors were scratched but let’s be honest… does that even really matter?!?!
To us it didn’t! I guess if you’re nit picky you can find something wrong with any place! But we are not….
We also loved how there was a 24hr shuttle than ran to the casino and all the other neighboring properties. They also had a “hotel pool” that had a regular pool, hot tub, steam room and dry sauna that we took advantage of… just tell the kids it’s the “adult only pool” ;)
In summary… is it kind of expensive? Yeah… was it worth it? ABSOLUTELY! And the customer service we received from SHAWN was impeccable. I say if you want to make some great memories with your kids, preteens and teenagers… just do it!

Run down property! Spent 2 sleepless nights there. Bed was extremely hard, old and lumpy. Pillows were like rocks! TV stopped working 3 times, toilet flusher stuck, tiny coffee maker was crusty inside, lamps would not turn on. Shower VERY SLIPPERY! Two chairs missing from room. We were told there was an adult pool, but there were 10-12 unsupervised rowdy big kids abusing the pool and hot tub after 9pm. staff knew about it, did nothing! At least 5 couples left! Not recommended. Check out staff could care less.

Stayed on a Friday night, with family who was in Mount Pleasant for our daughter's volleyball tournament. Approximately half the waterpark was closed because of COVID. There was loud noise in the hallways throughout the night with individuals arguing. We called the front desk and were advised quiet hours don't start until midnight but because it was after that they would check it out. It was quiet for all of 5 minutes. Two of our family members ended up with bed bug bites. Sent message to hotel and didn't hear back. Called hotel who sent us to voicemail of housekeeping. Eventually heard back from a lead housekeeper (not a manager), they sent in a pest company to investigate and confirmed there were indeed bed bugs. Will never stay there again!

Checked into the water park and everything went kind of smoothly. The room they gave me still had housekeeping working on it. I was given another room.
The good, great water park for the price. The hotel is clean and there are other things to do.
Some updates have taken place. My room still has the old 32 inch Phillips Tv.
They definitely need taller toilets.
My biggest pet peeve is letting all the kids in the hotel pool from 9-11
This should be adult time. There is no reason to allow screaming, hyper children go in the other pool.
They had 10-12 hrs to do all that in the water park pool. Some adults would like some quiet time.

We came here for two nights with our two kids - 2 and 5. Their grandma also came with us although she didn't use the water park. The hotel is clean and the staff was helpful. The restaurant was very good. We had breakfast there after check out on the last day. Free coffee in the lobby in the mornings. They had a movie for the kids at night which was a good way to wind down for bed.
The water park was nice. This is the first water park trip we have done with them so I can't compare it to some of the bigger ones. It is geared toward smaller kids, but since ours are 2 and 5 they had a good time. The three slides are easy enough for my 5 year old who is not a fan of the water to do on his own! The 2 year old could do the smaller one without a problem. The only issue that I had was the water in the lazy river seemed a big cold. Then as you are going around the lazy river, there are these huge fans that blow on you which didn't seem necessary.
The rooms were just basic rooms. Nothing fancy but they were clean and the beds were comfortable.
Shuttle to / from the casino was nice and comes every 1/2 hour. We used this a couple times. We will be back.Definitely a fun weekend getaway for the kids!

We thought the turtle cards meant Friday through Sunday for $225 and were so excited to give our children and 5 grandkids a fun weekend getaway. Upon making reservations it was discovered to be $225 per night! After 4 phone calls we finally got the same answer the kids did! PER NIGHT!Kids were ok but we were embarrassed as can be! Then to find out they often run out of day passes and we came very close to loosing the day with them , it was disappointing. Fortunately my instinct took over and we were able to get our passes in advance. The park is small but ok. The 5 grandkids enjoyed it. 1 that’s 9, then 2 that are 4 and then 2 that’s are 3 had a good time. The rooms were small and dirty. There were dogs barking, kids running through the halls and the neighbors were banging something against the wall well after quiet time. At one point management was pounding on the dog owners door making more noise then anyone. The arcade is small and pricey. Look for hidden cost and surprises of inconvenience occurred for us and left a horrid taste in our mouth. We have been to several indoor water parks and Great Wolf Lodge, splash Universe in Dundee and in Frankenmuth are more fun, more to do and way more affordable for what your get! Be clear with your expectations you may find that can’t be met here

Room was dirty and beat up. Definitely bring shoes/slippers because you won’t want to take shoes off. Lighting in rooms terrible (maybe that was purposeful). There was chocolate (at least I hope it was) on the faucet in the bathroom. Yuck. Dusty lampshades, cobweb in the corner of room. Coffee left in the coffee maker. Eww.
Wall climbing not open.
Shuttle was nice. They just renovated hallways & they look great. Too bad the rooms aren’t in the same condition. Water park is small & geared to small children. Wave rider line was ridiculous.
Very unlikely that we would return.

I'm really confused. I booked 3 months in advance, we're paying over $200 a night because I am terminally ill. Customer "service" said that we "can't use the waterpark until we are checked in with a room." Seriously? You won't allow me to go to the waterpark until your employees clean a room? I'm dying, this is the last trip with my 9 year old. We've been so excited and you won't let us use the waterpark for a few hours while the maintenance cleans the rooms? I am heartbroken, my daughter is in tears (we can't stay late Tuesday because I have chemo Wednesday). How is it possible to take so much of my money in advance, advertise about day-passes (I offered to pay for but for Spring Break you aren't selling). If ever there was a reason to allow us to use the facilities before your staff gets around to cleaning, this would warrant it. I'm not one to use my illness to get things, I hate the stares from being bald and on oxygen at 39 years old but for my love of my daughter I beg you to make this wish come true.
