We recently had the pleasure of fishing w Captain Tony & First Mate AJ during our family vacation. We had an absolute blast!! Captain Tony was very personable & made sure we all caught fish. The boat was clean and very safe with plenty of room for all 6 of us fishing. We caught lake trout, steelhead and coho. The weather was perfect & so was the crew. We would absolutely recommend Salmon Hunter Charters & Captain Tony to anyone who wants to land some big ones on Lake Michigan!!

Great day on the water with Capt. Tony and first mate Nate. Trip was easy to arrange, had a clean spacious vessel for our party of five. Capt. and crew were helpful, knowledgeable and funny. They even helped one of our seasick passengers enjoy the ride. Caught plenty of fish and had a great time. High recommendation!

Great day of fishing with Captain Tony and Nate.
Just had a fantastic day on Lake Michigan yesterday. I would highly recommend Salmon Hunters this was my first charter out of New Buffalo where we vacation every summer. We chartered a half day with 3 of us...
We caught Steelhead and Lake Trout on a beautiful morning on Lake Michigan out of New Buffalo Harbor. The fishing was great (caught our limit) but the company was even better. Nick and Nate were great to hang with and enjoy a gorgeous morning on the Lake. Thanks Captain Tony and (future) Captain Nate - job well done!

Captain Tony and Nate were great to work with. There were 4 adults and 2 teenagers. This was the best charter fishing we have ever done. The girls loved it. Captain Tony and Nate where very educational and helpful, they made the trip exciting. We look forward to next year.

We had a great time on the lake with Capt. Tony. As a group, we have fished with several guides and Capt. Tony did the little things that make the trip enjoyable. He met us at the dock the day before we fished, was easy to work with, and even arranged for us to use a private BBQ to grill our catch after our day on the water. Fishing exceeded our expectations with 10 fish in the boat on a half day charter; including some big big Kings. I would recommend Salmon Hunter Charters to anyone looking for a great fishing experience on Lake Michigan.

In July, 2017 family members and I went out on my fourth outing with Salmon Hunter Charters. Captain Tony and his young protégé were again on-point and we caught fish! What made this trip special is I thought the weather was going to force us to cancel our outing. The night before the winds were hollering, but Tony kept us abreast of the conditions. He was so accommodating that we rescheduled for a later departure that day after the lake laid down. We caught fish, in fact the Lake Trout I caught was so big my shoulder is still sore from bringing it in. Tony makes fishing fun, you always learn something new, and you will take more fish home than you can eat....share with your neighbors!

Ok, let me tell you about Salmon Hunter Charters, Captain Tony and his first mate Nate.
The booking experience was super easy, and Tony is VERY accommodating. Tony schedules his day around YOUR needs. Also, Tony and Nate are the nicest guys you will ever meet.
I booked a charter the summer of 2016 with Tony. My 8 year old son went as well. VERY kid friendly. I just finished a charter with him and booked another for September 2017. Tony has ALWAYS put us on fish. In fact, with Tony it should be called CATCHING instead of fishing. We have caught MONSTER fish the 2 times we've been out. His first mate Nate is EXTREMELY helpful and knowledgeable. He even put my son's rod on his shoulder so that my son could reel in a HUGE fish!
Once back at the marina, Tony cleans all your fish in a flash. Be sure to bring plenty of gallon freezer bags. Tony will FILL THEM UP WITH FISH! You will need a cooler and ice, which is available at the marina.
Tony's boat (rig) is great! There is plenty of room for up to 6 people on the deck. There is a restroom on the boat for your convenience.
If you are searching for a charter and you want to CATCH SOME FISH, you ABSOLUTELY MUST give Tony with Salmon Hunter Charters a call. You owe it to yourself!

Tony is very knowledgeable, and above all else, displayed a high level of integrity and honesty. He got me my first lake trout, even though it was the wrong time of the year to target them. His boat is well maintained and clean, his tackle performed flawlessly, and overall it was one of the best experiences of my life.

Captain Tony sure knows how to put you on the fish! Austin did a great job trolling. We limited out in 3 1/2 hours. We were on a trip with 4 generations ages 6-96 and everyone felt the personal attention! Tony rigged up at different depths and baits and was in constant motion especially when we had a triple on! He was so quick to reset that we were always fishing a full fan with outriggers and down riggers. My hope was to have an experience where my grandson was hooked and he sure is!! Thank-you Tony. GIVE THIS MAN A CALL!

All I can say is Tony knows his stuff. Whether you want a great time out on the water catching salmon and trout, or a day at the range becoming a great shot, Tony's got you covered. He won't settle for anything less than catching fish and that means an action packed day on the water perfect for anyone and everyone. If you want to catch fish, make sure you find yourself on this guy's boat!
