Come experience the beauty of Meadowbrook Hall during the holidays. An exquisite display of outdoor lights guide you to the magnificently decorated interior of the mansion. A must see during the Christmas season.

What an amazing property! Check in upon arrival, stroll through the grounds, and take the self-guided tour. It is so worth it. Over 110 rooms, this is the 4th largest museum house in America. Each room was decorated for the holidays, showcasing the elegance of the early 20th Century. Docents scattered throughout for additional information. Nice gift shop, friendly staff, and free parking.

Beautiful location and friendly staff. Bathrooms, if needed, are in the basement and we jokingly called it the "dungeon". If you are there for an event, like a wedding, the grounds are lovely and the food was fantastic.

Great information about the history of the family and the house. Very interesting home and grounds. Well worth the trip.

Beautiful old mansion. Took out of state guests for the tour. They really enjoyed it. Tour guide was very informative and answered all questions.

What a treat -- well worth the time. The home is stunning and the tour was excellent. Our tour guide (Carolyn?) was very knowledgeable and very enthusiastic about showing us around. We did not have time to stroll the grounds, but I'd recommend you plan enough time to do that.

This place is magnificent. Appropriately classified as one of America’s castles. I’ve visited both Ford homes and this home and this one is the best. If you haven’t seen this tremendous mansion you have to go. Even now it’s a marvel, just think during its time period, it has to be out of this world.

Is the playhouse still there and if so are there any pictures of it online???

Yes, Knole Cottage the playhouse built for Frances Dodge is still on the estate property. Visitors can tour the interior of the playhouse during the guided estate walking tour. Regarding pictures offline, I am not sure what you mean. There are images of Knole on our website.
