Vintage Theater in a great small town is a true gem. The new owners are remodeling some areas to make thw experience better so winter/spring of 2023 check for hours

The Vickers always presents a variety of interesting movies that are not what you will generally see at the mainstream theaters. Because of the small size, if there is a movie you want to seem get your tickets ahead of time. They have a small refreshment stand that offers candy and beverages, I believe. This is a fun place to go to see movies you can't find anywhere else.

The Vickers has only one screen, a modest number of seats and only one or two screenings per night. The movies selected for showing are a mix of movies that succeeded at film festivals but not at the Cineplexes with 20 screens. Yes, eventually the film may be on Netflix - but is a much better experience seeing the film in a theater with a community of like minded residents.

I go to virtually every movie this theater shows. It is a blessing to have an art house theater in a rural area. Their film selection is always superb and the owner, Bill, always gives some interesting background information on the movies, followed by a trivia question for a free large popcorn. A wonderful institution!

We've talked about visiting this movie theatre for quite some time. Yesterday we drove and hour from Indiana to see Mary, Queen of Scots and wasn't disappointed, It's a quaint movie theatre (I believe it's 107 years old) and we felt our patronage was appreciated. We'll be back.

The theater is mall, quaint, and features independent, foreign, and art movies. The Vickers is where we go to see real films in a fun, small-town setting.

Saw Lady Bird here on a snowy December night. Lovely venue, acceptable prices, and a great asset to the area. Seats and temperature were comfortable. Don't miss this venue!

We were there for a special showing of a short movie by a River Valley foreign exchange student. We had driven by this theater for years but never inside, what an old time classic. Seating is comfortable and the theater is very clean.

The Vickers Theater is a local treasure. For folks in Harbor Country, Michiana and NW Indiana, it is a great place to view independent films. It's cozy, friendly and the owners kept the balcony area for extra seating. Fresh popcorn, affordable prices and a charming venue - what more could you ask for?

Always reliable for a good movie, the Vickers rotate two movies on one screen 5 days a week. They show a careful selection of independent and foreign films of sometimes quirky, sometimes heavy fare.
Its a small theater with a great staff and the best and freshest popcorn. So if the movie isn't to your taste the popcorn will be. Take a risk. Warning: the demographics may make you feel young!
