Love to run and walk around the park solo or with family. The horse and pony riding area of the park is open from 1200 till 1900.

This is a great park to visit! This is a great park for families, couples, friends, etc. The water view is beautiful. The walking trails are nice. This is perfect for working out. It is a pretty big park, but you will eventually find your way around everything. Parking is also free here.

Elizabeth Park is a jewel along the Detroit River! A great Park to relax by the River, enjoy a leisurely walk or even play Baseball or frisbee. Special Events like the Roar on the River Boat Races, Jazz on the River, and more offer so many things to do and enjoy...

I took many walks through Elizabeth Park the past few months. They have a super river walk! Very pleasant and enjoyable.

My sister and i went in aug for the motown review and had a ball! There was the Undisputed Truth, the Miracles and Martha Reeves. The atmosphere was friendly no drama everyone was enjoying themselves. They sold food also. I will definitely go back next year. They also had a jazz fest, but i didnt go to that. You have to bring your own chairs.

Nice park with a variety of activities for all ages. The park features playgrounds, volleyball, pony rides, petting zoo, fishing and relaxing atmosphere.

I’m just a big kid at heart and really like a good petting zoo especially when the admission is FREE.
1 dollar to feed the animals. They give you a cone filled with feed. Animals are really friendly and for most pet can walk right up to them with the exception of the horses.
The horses are reserved for guided rides which range in price from 10-15 dollars.
They have a buggy too which can be used for kids with disabilities according to the young girls who staff the location.
They accept donations and is a really good family outing. Or like us a time full between eating dinner and getting a bumpy sundae at Sanders in Wyandotte.

Lots to do, such as playgrounds, skateboard ramps, covered and open picnic areas, fishing areas, a gymnastic trail, small petting zoo and pony rides. The 'Somewhere in Time' festival is held here (based on the movie).

no reservations - just ride when ponies/horses are open for business - they do have horse riding but the carriage, the ponies and horses are "lead" by a volunteer who work for tips! :)

Yes to food, chairs. However,I would call the Police Department or Elizabeth Park Center about wine/beer.
