We. were lucky enough as two females , avg to better than average golfers breaking 100,(honestly) were paired up with two prefect gentleman Don and Sean. The rules although were perfectly acceptable, felt told to us as a caution to playing within their rules and gui dlines. We play ready golf and played 18 in about 4 1/2 ,even though a bit of wait here and there to the group ahead ,were notified by GPS that we were not playing fast enough , and the carts well within the perimeters that we would have respected, telling us we were approaching wrongful boundaries... you have a beautiful course, we would have respected and enjoyed it ,but felt rushed ... maybe 9 min in between tee times is a bit much on such a beautiful mid october day!

Play was so slow that we left and went home after 10 holes. Starter told us that a marshal would be out on the course watching for slow play; no Marshall ever showed up. Instead, Starter himself visited us on the eighth green and haughtily advised us there were no slow conditions ahead. His statement was false. S twosome of juniors and a twosome of women were in front of us slowing play. The twosomes should have been paired together. 10 holes took three hours. It would have been a 5 1/2 hour round. I brought private club members from Oakland County Michigan to experience the course; both advised they will not return. Sad, because I used to like this course a lot.

If you're in the Detroit Metro area this course should be at the top of your list! Beautifully maintained and very well run. It has Tees for every skill level and a great variety of holes. I give 5 Stars to any tract that makes you use all 14 clubs!

Played in mid May and there was actually snow coming down!. Course is pretty wide open off the tee and almost impossible to miss a fairway. Greens run fast and they hold. Most of the holes seem to be straight into the wind. For a public facility the course is in really good shape. You won't be disappointed playing here.

The grounds crew consistently keeps the course in absolutely beautiful condition. All staff members are polite and well-manered, giving it a country club feel. There are several long-time employees that know customers by name.
Pricier than other local courses, but worth it. Beverage cart and indoor food prices are fair.

I've been playing this course for 16 years and it never gets old. Great challenge but if you hit good shots you'll be rewarded. Terrific blend of holes very well designed. I personally know the superintendent and he and his staff does a fabulous job on maintainence. If your ever in Southeast Michigan this course is a must play!

Very nice golf course. On time tee off with no wait. Busy but was kept moving. Greens and location nice. No complaints. Workers in office had very good attitude. Nice selection of golf equipment and attire to purchase if wanting to. Good experience.

The course traverses you through hill and dale, through wetlands and heather. The clubhouse is nice but small and has only grill fare.
