We went for a winter raft trip and the scenery was drop dead gorgeous. The area is so peaceful - the snow, the quiet, the gentleness of the water - it felt like a floating meditation. At the takeout point, there is an option to take transportation back to the cars or hike along the Silver Creek Pathway. We opted for the hike (about 2 miles) and loved viewing the river from land too.

Four girlfriends and I had a beautiful winter raft trip on the Pine River. Jacob was our outfitter and guided us down the fiver for an amazing 1 1/2 hour ride. Beautiful sunshine and snow made it a perfect experience. I highly recommend this experience if you love winter and the river. We stayed warm and dry.

My friends and I do a canoe/kayak trip every year on different rivers and this was our first trip on the Pine. The campground sites are nice and secluded. Each site is pretty much obscured from other sites and private. They have lots of options for kayaks and the staff are super friendly and knowledgeable. They use multiple drop off points to accommodate any length of trip and make it really easy. They helped us plan the perfect trip for our first time on the Pine, which might be my favorite river in Michigan!

What a beautiful campground my partner and I cannot say enough wonderful things about Jake and his wife they are so kind and Mark is an incredible craftsman. The cabin we were in was beyond incredible. The Pine River keeps you on your toes and such a gorgeous and peaceful place.

Pine River Paddle Sports offers one of the best experiences on the any river. The Pine River is windy and moves, yet it's clean because of the diligent efforts of Jake.
They have canoes, kayaks and rafts.
You won't just be thrown onto the river! They provide a demonstration on how to navigate moving water and drive you to the drop off and pick up sport. Of course, you get a map and great gear to keep your stuff dry.
The staff are wonderful, and you can stay in their clean campsite or a gamping cabin. All-in-all it's one of the best experiences of my summer.
They have canoes, kayaks and rafts.

Found these guys while searching for rivers that go through national/state forests. The crew at PRPC was super friendly and helpful. We did the 3 day, 2 night trip on the Pine River and loved it. PRPC’s suggestions for camping along the way were perfect. I can’t imagine anyone knows the region’s rivers better. Highly recommend!

We took a tandem kayak down a 3-hour stretch of Pine River and had a wonderful time. The river is clear, beautiful, fast, and winding enough to be challenging unless you want to pinball your way down. Everyone we encountered was friendly and seemed to be enjoying themselves, and Pine River Paddlesports covered all the logistics of pick-up and drop-off without a hitch. We highly recommend the river and the company; hope to go back!

Pine River Paddlesports is such a special place! My wife and I have been going here for 5 years, and it has been an incredible experience for our kids. The campsites are well-maintained, spaced out, tucked away and more private than other campgrounds. The location is also difficult to beat, surrounded by the Manistee National Forest and a short hike away from the Pine River.
Ample room for tents at each site, and the campground features two rustic cabins when more space is needed. Our kids have grown up learning about nature here, with so much to foster their imagination. Canoeing, rafting, hiking, rock-climbing and smore-making! The nights are also very peaceful due to quiet hours. An excellent place to turn off devices, restore and recharge.
However, the best about Pine River Paddlesports? The staff. Jake and Alaney are very gracious hosts, and go out of their way to take care of their campers. Wonderful people. They have become great friends of our family and our kids look forward to seeing Hoxey on every trip! The Lovable Husky that greets campers at the main office.
