I don't know what to say. My daughter and I came here in the past and had a membership about three years ago. Due to the pandemic and other life things, we didn't go back until last week.
The day we went it was not crowded, but at $30 a person, it was not the price I remember. Sure, inflation and such I get it. We get our tickets and first stop to make a crayon. It was fun, pick out a color and write a message on the crayon. Great. Mine had poor adhesive, so the label peeled off.
We went from station to station and at each stop, the supplies, such as the markers, were very dry. The paper needed to draw on was not present. The make a puzzle paper was non-existent either. Others wandered around wondering...where are the supplies. And no staff present to ask questions.
After about an hour we thought, he lets go get a snack or some food in the cafe. Both were closed due to "staffing problems".
We headed over to the station that you can color a figurine. I see it from a distance and my daughter eyes all the figures, but they only had two available, and one was for members only. So our choice was one. Ok.
The digital fashion show or car decoration was interesting. Again only one choice for the female. The worker rambled about how they have other printouts, but they are in a closet somewhere and no one really wants to print them out. As well as telling me and my daughter of the boys that come in making inappropriate clothing options for the fashion show. I didn't think it was a good idea to tell those stories in front of my daughter. Yay.
One of the last stops was near the end to make a crayon mold of an animal or car or something. I remember that being very cool. We get there, and make a cat. Put the crayon in, but this time there was someone helping. She was nice, but did not clean out the mold first before starting the machine. Uh...wait, I tried to say. Too late she went too fast, closed the machine, and walked away. Ok, so we wait, and drip drip it fills the mold...but only about 3/4 of the way. No back half of the cat. The worker pulls it out and it was awful. No feet no tail and other colors in the mold. I said, we need a re-do. She walked away while saying "it is what it is". My daughter just wanted to leave at that point so we did.
The most fun was the vending machine clay and playing at the tables. Although we inserted our token and the packet of putty got stuck and didn't come out. Just like that candy bar you wanted at work and now you're out of money and hungry. But I used the other token, cause we had two...or pay $5 for another go. Put in the token and three fall out. Wow.
The gift shop was nice, but just like Disney, everything is overpriced and you can find all of that on Amazon for a lot cheaper.
Generally, the staff seemed like they hated their jobs and putting in their time. Like the carnival ride workers at the state fair. Joy. But the man taking our tickets upon entrance was enthusiastic and pleasant. I get it if there are staffing problems, you take what you can get.
So all in all we paid $60 for a peeling crayon, a broken clay vending machine, no concessions (although the concession stand had left out all the snacks so I thought about dropping a five on the counter), inappropriate stories and a cat that has not legs or tail.
It used to be fun. But can't say I will go back again. I can't imagine the Crayola Experience being open for much longer with all the issues. I hope they get it together.

Our toddler loved the Crayola experience. There is so much to do there! Our son loved the coloring station, playing with the Model Magic station, as well as taking photos for our own coloring page and playing on the play structure!

It’s fun for kids but two of the create your own crayon stations were broken. Maybe had 4 or 5 exhibits total. $28 was kind of a high price. Didn’t seem to have much to offer. $15 would’ve been more of an appropriate price.

As of July 14 2022, the scribble scrubbies was not open which was not indicated ok the website where we purchased our tickets. Under 2 is free. The tickets are cheaper online rather than at the kiosk. The crayola employee at the drip art was rude and not welcoming at all. Most of the centres were not operational or no one there to assist. The whole environment seems a bit dark-adding more lights will make it brighter and welcoming. Overall, it was an okay experience. I don’t think we would participate again.

We found the entry price to be on the expensive side (if you are going with whole family). The experience itself is very nice though. Great place for young kids.

Very disappointing. We went 2 years ago and now it’s a shell of what it was. For $25+ per person for general admission and half the stations aren’t working. Low staff, technology not working, limited choice (no choice) of products, not clean, model magic machines out of order and only 2 colors in the one machine, dried out markers at stations and i could keep going. So sad to see something that was full of life and creative to now be a dump.

I have been to this Crayola Experience location many times, even as an annual ticket holder. My last visit was extremely disappointing to say the least. Some of the attractions, which happen to be our favorites, were not open. I paid $90 for two adults and one child, and no discount for not having everything available.
-We didn’t get a voucher for a free Scribble Scrubbie, this is supposed to come with each purchased ticket, but that station wasn’t open.
-The Cafe wasn’t open, and we were there between 11:00am and 1:00pm
-The Drip Art activity was not open.
-They only had two colors available in the modeling clay area, green & purple.
-Because the Scribble Scrubbies Staion was closed you also couldn’t do the sand art that they are supposed to have available.
-Half the crayon colors were not working in the Wrap It Up station to create your own crayon wrapper.
Every one of the these attractions are part of why we loved going to the Crayola Experience, for them not to be available after paying $90 for our tickets was outrageous. I think my 6 year old would have enjoyed picking out $90 worth of stuff in the Crayola store instead.
