Creative and yummy breakfast sandwiches and sublime pastries! They also make a wonderful soy latte! Table seating for one or two or a group of five or more is available.

We stumbled on this place as it looked interesting and it was very quaint, intriguing and informative. I loved all the books, binding and interesting adjuncts.
The coffee shop next door is amazing too! Friendly staff who are very knowledgeable. Great stop for out of towners!

Stopped in here on a whim...purchased a book because a discussion/reading with author was scheduled. Enjoyed the book and the discussion but primarily appreciate that this locally owned book store promotes books that are curated by the staff. Will be purchasing more books here.

Visiting from out of state, I was told I MUST visit Open Book during my Minneapolis trip for an author event at ModernWell. My hotel, Aloft Minneapolis was kitty-corner down the street. Imagine my surprise and delight to walk through their doors and be in Reader and Writer Heaven!

Needed a quick spot for lunch. Delicious chicken and rice soup with half size Waldorf salad. Quick and delicious with great friendly service.

I have a number of my business support time living or working in or around Minneapolis. This is great location to meet at not only for the convenience but their coffee is always great, pastries are delicious ... And if you are working over lunch they have what I call scrumdillylicous sandwiches...

We found this unique place based on a reader's recommend. Located in an old reclaimed building and housing old-fashioned printing presses, we thought this was a wonderfully different stop for readers and word nerds. Cosy, friendly, and filled with bookish art, this was a relaxing stop for a whirlwind trip. The food and coffee in the tiny cafe is good, and it was a great place to explore and revive from the rush of other tourist stops. I highly recommend this charming stop for anyone academically or bookishly inclined.

다운타운 미네아폴리스 입구에 위치하고 있는 이 곳은 한국식으로 정확히 어떤 곳이다 라고 하기는 어렵네요. 1층에는 커피숖도 있고, 아기자기한 소품들을 파는 가게도 있고, 2층에는 모임을 할 수 있는 방도 있고 그냥 앉아서 이야기할 수 있는 좌석들도 있고, 글쓰기를 배우는 사람들을 위한 workshop 을 하는 곳도 있고.. 아무튼 학생들이 와서 공부를 하기도 하고 소그룹으로 모여서 모임을 하기도 하는 자연스럽고 편안한 느낌의 열린 장소입니다. 여기 커피숖에서 음료 및 간단한 식사도 가능합니다.

We met friends for coffee and breakfast. Close to University of Minnesota West Bank and Washington Ave. Large space, old building, great ambiance and service.
