Minneapolis City Hall is a throwback to olden days when public buildings were built solid to inspire confidence. The building is beautiful. Unfortunately, tours are now only offered during the week because of Covid.

I enjoyed the look and charm of the main hall The stair case is awsome of the marble stairs, I wonder if other people thought the same. There is so many people moving in the building/

Like City Hall in Philadelphia, Minneapolis's City Hall was designed as a centerpiece of its urban skyline. It is an amazing work of brick and stone. Inside, make sure you see the giant allegorical statue of the Mississippi bestowing its gifts of food and water, and rub its big toe for luck as the locals do.

Brought out of state friends and they were shocked at how accessible the building is in the middle of the week. Make sure to touch the toe of the statue in the lobby for luck and then look up and marvel at the marble

It is good that the structure was retained during the major down turn in 1971 in Minneapolis. It is nut a boring looking building. The clock tower is a great added feature.

This is one impressive city hall building. It is important to look at the building close up to see all the fine detail carved in the stone. One of my favorite clock towers in the Midwest.

Is it possible to schedule field trip for middle school for Minneapolis Skyway system

I don't know about scheduling a field trip for the skyways, but you can just go to any downtown Minneapolis building, take the escalator to the second floor, and explore the skyway as much as you like. I also think if you can arrange a field trip to Minneapolis City Hall if you contact the right office, Just do your homework online.
