After the staff waited on all the customers who arrived after me, they took my order. picked a little of almost everything. One feature I like is that most candies are available in milk chocolate and dark chocolate varieties. This is the only place I have found sponge candy year-round. The chocolate covered potato chips are another product which is difficult to find. I like the combination of sweet and salty. The chips add some crunch. A sign on the outside says the store has been in business since the 1930's.

It was love at first sight. What a delightful candy store that puts you in a good mood. All kinds of treats from handmade chocolates to Chicago style popcorn. Most of the items are made in house. The heavenly hash chocolate and dark chocolate covered almonds are amazing. Wish I had gotten more of them. CANDYLAND is a must stop when visiting Minneapolis. It's popular with locals and tourists for good reason. Absolutely heavenly!

I've been coming here for over 30 years to grab Chicago Mix popcorn for my family for Christmas. Good prices, friendly employees, great popcorn and all sorts of chocolate and candy.

By far, the best caramel apples anywhere. Anywhere. I always bring them home, and wish I could just fly out there once a week, simply for the caramel apples. The chocolate, too, is very good... as is the popcorn. Wow!

Perfect candy emporium. Classic dipped chocolates. A delicious selection of fudge including Penuche. Gummies, etc. by the pound, cotton candy. Employees are pleasant & helpful. Pricing is reasonable.

Great variety of candy, we went to both locations in Minneapolis and both have great selections. The sponge candy was amazing!

The best seller was cheese but I couldn’t resist sampling the Sea Salt Caramel and it was the bomb! Got my bag...now go get yours!

This place is hard to get to and parking is aweful. There is a cute photo opportunities in the front of the store but other than that I was not impressed at all

had to stop and get a souvenier bag of mixed candy for the kids since we left them at home when we went away to Minn for a few days. There was a large selection, prices were not too bad.

This is a small place easily overlooked if driving by. Worth a stop as they do have decent popcorn, and it's made in-house. Is their Chicago Mix as good as Garrett's in Chicago? Not even close, buts it's still good and worth a stop.
I also picked up some pecans, which were very good, and there was a decent selection to satisfy the kids.
Top tip: Ask for a sample before you buy, as some candy items were not very fresh.
