On our last night visiting Owatonna we decided to take our kids to Waters Edge. We barely made it before closing time (8 PM) on a Saturday night. We didn't expect them to allow us to play, especially since we had two young kids. But the woman at the desk invited us in, 2 minutes before 8, and was super kind. We played our 18 holes as quickly as we could, and when we finished, she cheerfully gave our children free icees. We of course paid for them as we wouldn't take no for an answer. We were so grateful for her kindness to give up an hour of her Saturday evening for our family, and we will certainly be back. The course was well kept and just enough of a challenge that the adults enjoyed it, but not overly that our 5yo and 8yo were able to enjoy it as well. We look forward to playing again in the future.

Open just a few hours a week. Came with party of 4 teens at 5 pm on Saturday... woman locked the gate right in front of us saying “she’d had enough for the day”. Come back some other day. Fat chance.
