Mn orchestra here with other bands for 4 of July Great sound clean nice sight lines. You can’t go wrong seeing and hearing here. Don’t miss if anyone is playing

Came here during the Plymouth on Parade event on a Saturday am. The grounds were very neat and clean and beautifully landscapped as well.

We never miss Music in Plymouth. It's a great show from the MN Orchestra and local acts. It's a neighborhood get-together on steroids. We can't wait for this year's show.

Hilde is a great place for community gatherings, outdoor concerts or just for a nice stroll. The city has invested a lot in recent years for upgrades to add lights, fountains, small stage, patio area, musical sculptures, a pond with a fountain and a veterans memorial. There is a paved walkway around the space and a few crosswalks. For large events, parking can be a little bit of a challenge as there is only a little bit of street parking right in front of it and the parking at city hall next door, as well as Millennium Garden parking lot and the Fernbrook play fields parking lot. There are business parking lots nearby as well and sometimes there is shuttle service provided to/from the site.

They were having a run/walk event when we went there. They did have music but they were using the garden area instead. What is also cool, the cement leading to the stage has lights embedded in it. It is pretty large grassy area and accommodate a large crowd. I would also check out the pond where they have seating. The wooded area in the park has some beautiful flowers and sculpture walk ways. After you have seen this, then walk over to the Millennium Garden next door. There is also a large memorial wall with a quotation from President Truman to those who serve near the parking lot.

Great place to be on a summer evening, bring blanket or your own chair, but just a splendid way to hear some music and relax on a nice and clean venue!! We go and meet friends there often, so relaxing and enjoyable,

Super play with late night fire works.
It is sure you need to visit this place with a camera.
Good for relaxation and also easy access for disabled. Park near by through trail is Millennium Garden.

Went here for 4th of July fireworks and thought it was fantastic. The sound system was great. I walked up next to the bands/shows, and back to were I was in the way back section and the sound quality was virtually the same. They have a big screen going in case you aren't close enough to see the band, which most people weren't. The organization and overall effort to put on a performance of this high quality is outstanding. We took the shuttle in, which was great and saved us a lot of walking or driving in a packed parking lot. I don't have a lot of suggestions, but the concessions were hard to access. Maybe the Ice Center parking should be off limits and they reserve that area for concessions? This would allow them to expand and maybe more people would go to buy things. I would have spent some money on concessions, but it was so packed I didn't want to mess with it. The only other suggestion is that there should be two or three restroom areas instead of having it all in one spot and completely unregulated. However, for a small town to pull off a 4th of July such as this is quite impressive!!

A great space to hear music or fireworks! Lovely landscaping and all great views of the stage area. Put this on your summer to-do list and bring along family and friends!

We walked through the Hilde Center this afternoon. Our first visit after the remodeling. The stage is a large performance space (the Minnesota Orchestra performs here annually).
This space is also home to weekly summer time movies and other community events.
There is amphitheater seating about 100 yards away from the stage. There is a large area of lawn for blanket seating in front of the stage.
There is small area of patio seating next to the fountain. Great for a leisurely picnic. In addition, there are five picnic tables.
The City of Plymouth and the Plymouth Civic League hold an annual concert local bands and featuring the Minnesota Orchestra and fireworks display held around July 4th. Check the City of Plymouth website for exact details of this event.

Hi,
I request you to please check this with the event management system or the people who host the program there.
I think the seats may have to be booked.
All I can suggest is that, the chairs are there next to the pond and view is ok to good. It could be better and depends on the day's arrangement made.
If I have some pictures of the chairs arranged I'l try to submit here but I can't promise it completely.
