Really large sites with private beach access. Ended up putting two 10 man tents up on the same site (with two cars and a tarp and still had plenty of room). Good canopy cover as well so not hot during the day.

A beautiful national park camp with private camp sites, toilets, shade and ocean views. A beautiful walk along the beach but not ideal for swimming because of tides. Bring insect repellent!

Pleasant small beach with rocky headlands at either end. The tide goes out at low tide. No stinger net so no swimming in summer. Great National Park campground.

Booking site is terrible, shows full when empty and people ignore booking for this reason. Be great spot if wasn’t so difficult.

Set up camp here after a long car journey only for the selfish campers on the next site to start up their noisey generator. The parknotes state that generators are not allowed in the park. This went on for an hour then was turned off. It was peaceful and I could hear the birds and the wind at the beach. But then half an hour later the jerks on the other side got their generator going. It was even louder than the other one, so loud in fact that the selfish people in the camp had to shout to one another to carry on their inane conversations.
There is obviously a culture of contempt for the parks rules, and rangers are rarely there to enforce rules.
Do not go there if you are looking for a peaceful place to camp and listen to the sounds of nature.

What a wonderful little campsite. Only 11 spots and right on the beach. Massive sites and perfect for a group getaway. Site 10 and 11 are a little smaller but really remote ( far from the loos though!) if you have a group 4 and 5 and 6 and 7 would be perfect. We were at number 2 and loved it. Had a beach view from the camper trailer. What more could you want!! Take HEAPS of good repellent though as the sandflies and mosquitos are harsh and the kids got bitten alive but they had a great time!

We had site 11.
WOW. Very clean. Only 11 sites.
Beautiful beach walk.
Semiclear water
Good fishing...so we heard.
Def recommend. You MUST book ahead. We just luckily fluked 2 nites.

Great spot to camp, private camp spots and a minimal charge to camp here and has toilets. Downside is the mozzies

Just on the other side of Cape Hillsborough, this beach is quite and beautiful. Camped 2 nights, there are 3 drop toilets, & water, self sufficient is needed. A short drive on a gravel road from the bitumen is needed. QParks have 11 sites which are a very good size, and it's right on the beach. Some Kangaroos are on this beach in the morning, but you would need to go to the other side about 7k away.

Got up to see the sunrise on the beach, but the best bit about it was doing it with Kangaroos and wallabies, they go there first thing in the morning to feed when the tide is out, we went for a walk along the beach and one of the Kangaroos hopped on along side us for a good way it was really lovely experience and the sunrise was beautiful too,
