If your looking for local - this is the place. Inside was neat, clean, easily accessible from sidewalk/road. Parking on the road. Flat entrance. Bar tenders were very congenial and attentive. Menu is simple, but has variety. We were glad we stopped by.

We were in town visiting family and stopped in for lunch. The atmosphere is really fun, with nostalgic pictures and memorabilia all over, great music playing, and even better food. The service was great- Becky is really sweet and was super attentive. We ended up loving it so much that we went back the next day for breakfast. So much food and it was delicious! One person ordered a Bloody Mary and it was so good that everyone else followed suit! If you are in the area, don't miss out on this one!

Our meals (double burger special) were OK, but major sticker shock when we upgraded from chips to fries. We expected a small up charge, but $6 for a very small portion of waffle fries? And no warning of such when ordering? The up charge was greater than the cost of the meal! Fun decor and friendly staff, but this is the definition of a tourist trap!

Had breakfast here a couple times; good omelet the first time, but soggy, tasteless french toast another time. Wait staff OK. Wifi worked once, but not the other time. Interesting decor inside but a very dark place.

Lunch on way to Tower-Soudan State Park underground mine tour
Cold beer & good food. Good crowd of locals -one friend had fish fry said it was delish another had a nice blt and I had a burger. Good prompt service
Ohhlala pics in ladies room, old time newspaper to read while waiting for food and a nice old Hamms beer bear

We stopped for dinner last night and ordered the hand breaded pollack. Our plates were delivered to us piled high with two enormous filets, fries, garlic toast and coleslaw, lemon and tartar sauce. The batter was light and crispy, the fish flaky and delicious. When I asked for more tartar sauce it was delivered promptly. The waiter checked back several times to make sure we had what we needed and the cook stopped once to make sure our meal was to our liking. All this for $10.50 apiece! I highly recommend Good Ol' Days!
