If you are the type of person that loves to fish but doesn't normally get the opportunity, this might seem ideal for you...but do not be fooled. Sure, the cost is reasonable, but you get what you pay for.
Our main credit card is used for almost all charges and has enough available credit to purchase a small car, but somehow the office staff here managed to trigger a fraud alert and called us mid-trip to straighten it out. My wife spent the next hour getting ragged at by staff who told her she'd be late for her second job because the card wouldn't process, then had to call the cc company to lift the alert. 1 of the 3 fishing hours wasted.
Up on deck there were 11 total people fishing so the pics submitted previously are a little deceptive...it seemed crowded up top and there were a lot of crossed lines. After anchor, the starboard side was casting into the sun and got into several large nice fish. Our port side was casting into the shadow of the boat and landed nothing but small catfish and croakers that were released. At one point the captain was about to reorient the boat, but changed his mind. No fish for the port side...
If you still book with these guys, set aside your southern polite and do what you have to do to fish the productive side of the boat that day. Otherwise all you will have to remember the day will be the big fish stories of the deckhand.
We did contact the owner of the boat who politely implied we were liars and incompetent fishermen. That should tell you all you need to know...fish off the piers or hire a real boat...the gulf is full of fish!

Great and informative guides. They definetly deserve the tips! They do everything from provide a fishing license to fileting the fish. Just bring yourself! We went today and fished 3 spots caught mostly white trout. My husband loves to fish and he really enjoyed the trip.

We went on the Biloxi City tour in April. Our drivers' name was Melisa R. and she was great. She was Knowledgeable and friendly. We went to the cemetery, she walked us through it and told us several stories of the people in the cemetery. She took us around the beaches, pointed out the carvings on the hyway and the lighthouses and thru town, talking about Katrina and she did show us the water marks on various buildings. She showed us some "locally" enjoyed food joints . It was great. The tour is located at the Biloxi small crafts harbor just beside the hard rock cafe casino. I would recommend it to anyone that visits Biloxi, Make sure you ask for Melisa!!!

This is a sister tour of the Biloxi Shrimping trip. We went on it partly because we got a minimal discount ($1 or $2 per person) and the van is air-conditioned, and primarily because my husband is a cemetery buff and we are both interested in local history and architecture. The driver was quite personable, but as I say, the focus of the tour was Hurricane Katrina, and in particular, the high-water marks. The "cemetery" section is one drive through the center of the cemetery, with a stop at the high water mark. She neglected to mention that the marker is directly in front of the grave of George Ohr. Everything except the Camille memorial is viewed from the van. Although we noted several fine examples of Art Deco and Beaux Arts architecture, the only building mentioned by the driver is the one built with bricks made from ground oyster shells (something like that). It is a quick trip around the high points of Biloxi, but not worth $15 per person, and I have serious doubts about many of the "historical facts" presented.

I like being able to sit back & enjoy the sights. But what I like even better is for my husband to be able to do the same, thereby not scaring me to death with his driving while he's looking out his side window! That alone makes this worthwhile! :) On this tour we saw carvings out of the trees that were damaged from Katrina but still in the ground, the Old Biloxi Cemetery, the Biloxi Lighthouse, the Katrina memorial, & the Jefferson Davis home. Our driver/tour guide was very good & showed us a few extras... like good places to eat. There were little tidbits of information you just wouldn't get if you tried to drive around and see these things by yourself. I would recommend it!
