We visited the outside of the Shrine during the day. It was not opened yet. The bible verses on the outside are nice. It is a wonderful monument and something worth visiting.

Our second time at this shrine. It was still closed from the winter/spring shutdown. But you can walk the grounds, look through the windows of the chapel etc.

The place was closed on the inside when we visited but the monument itself is a real attraction. There is a chapel and two side buildings surrounded by the monument. It is peaceful and beautiful.

This is a beautiful spot---------and very interesting to hear the story of the man that felt he had this "vision ' to build this and paid for everything. It is a beautiful chapel--small gift store--small book store---and a massive wall and cross serving as a background to the site.----------My comment about if your in the the area just meant it's not one of those places to visit that is really big.

We stopped by twice while in Branson recently. The first time, we walked around and spent about 15 minutes in prayer and reflection in the chapel. The sense of peace was palpable and we left refreshed. Unfortunately the gift shop was closed, so we decided to try again before we left town.
Our return visit to the chapel was just as peaceful and positive, and we spent a bit of time talking to the manager of the gift shop afterwards, and we found some meaningful items to buy.
Highly recommend if you’re spiritually inclined and looking for a break from the hustle and bustle.

This is not somewhere to be entertained; this is where you will encounter God. It's such a lovely place yet very unassuming and humble location compared to the glitzy, razzle-dazzle of most Branson attractions.
If you come here to worship God, surrender your soul, and give up some of your vacation time to honor God, you will receive as much as you whole-heartedly put into.
I would just like to mention that the gift store prices are extremely reasonable; in fact, compared to the prices of other stores in Branson, it's downright cheap!

The place needs better signage to find, and place looked rundown and abandoned and neglected. Structures needing repairs, weeds around, and nothing open to go inside of. Not even lights on inside to show the colors of the stained glass from light. The one building/store maybe said OPEN, it was Not! and had umbrellas and boxes etc inside the glass doors, looking messy. Not impressed, maybe nicer at night for lights if looks like photos? did not have that religious feeling we thought it would give us.

It’s worth a stop for any Christian. It’s a beautiful building with a small chapel and bookstore. Both the chapel and bookstore were closed when we went, but the outside is the best part. Tablets engraved with scriptures decorate the walls and are illuminated with lights. We visited on a dreary morning and the place had a special feel to it. I believe you can find God in anything, but places like this make it pretty easy.

I was in tears after walking into the chapel. Just felt the Holy Spirit and God in this place. The chapel is open 24 hours a day, everyday! No excuse for not seeing it.
