Dewey Short Visitors Center is well worth with a visit. It's free and offers some nice exhibits along with views of Table Rock Lake.

What an informative place ! Lots of interesting stuff here. The view of the lake is awesome. Make this one a stop if you are in the area.

This is a nice activity if you are looking for something free or looking for something educational. The visitors center is located at Table Rock Dam which (surprisingly) is located at Table Rock Lake. There is info on the building of the dam and educational displays. Although we didn't go with kids it seems very kid friendly. There is a viewing deck. There is a hiking trail where I have been running a few times (I don't consider Branson very runner-friendly, so I was willing to drive 15 minutes just to go for a run).

This visitor's center is very well maintained, has plenty of free parking, and being adjacent to Table Rock Lake the views are amazing. The center itself has some most excellent displays that give a detailed and yet pleasant account of the Table Rock Dam, local area, and of course flora and fauna. Very well worth a visit, entertaining, and educational. A definite must see IMO.

This was a very interesting and enlightening experience. Building holds all kinds of interpretive signage, facts and statistics. Views of the lake from this visitor center are beautiful. Take your time. 3 floors. Elevator also available.

This was close to our hotel so we decided to stop. Watch the movie -- very interesting and informative. The views from here were awesome! Don't forget to take the drive down the road to view the other side of the dam.

this was beautiful and clean. there were a lot of educational displays. the view was beautiful. easy to find and the parking lot isnt terrible to get around in. the staff was kind and attentive.

Great place! Admission is free. We enjoyed the exhibits and the junior ranger program. Staff members are excellent. Highly recommend.

This is a great free location to beat the heat of summer. The volunteers here are very helpful when you arrive guiding you to all the different things for kids. I like that the building has an elevator making it easier to get from floor to floor. The kids enjoyed the timer on how fast they could get a lifejacket on and be in the boat. The section on electricity generation was probably my favorite part. The backside of the building faces the lake and dam, for a night picture if there is something to photograph.

The people were friendly and very informative. The displays were both entertaining and educational and it is a place we will visit again.
