Lovely and peaceful, up on a hill. Some of my ancestors are buried here but I didn't find the headstones. I imagine if one came when office is open they could help one locate plots.

Ancient history came alive , spectacular view , there was a guy selling books he became our guide as well so I bought the book , we had hired a cab who took us to the western wall and the jerusalem market

We decided to go here to see the grave of "Injun" Joe. We always find cemeteries interesting, and we drove around for quite awhile before we found the graves of Injun Joe and his wife. It's a very large cemetery, and we never did find the Clemens family burials. You would think they would put up markers or a map showing the locations, but there are none.

After visiting the Mark Twain Museum, I decided to drive out to the cemetery to see the Clemens Family grave site. We were lucky to find the caretaker mowing who directed us to where family was buried. This caretaker was most helpful in providing a lot of interesting information on monuments, chapel, etc.

Worked into our tour to find ancestors. Was a hot day and not a good day to visit. Didn't find what we were looking for, but was okay.

Cemetery photography and research is one of our hobbies, but even if it weren't, this place would be worth a visit. It's nicely maintained and walking around, you can see some familiar names from Hannibal's history. For example, Mr. Cruikshank and his wife (from Rockcliffe Manor) are buried here. Lots of interesting markers to see, and a few beautiful statues.

Stopped here after visiting with locals in town. Beautiful cemetery, much of it is maintained by volunteers mowing. We stopped into the office for directions and were greeted by a friendly and helpful lady, whom provided us with a map and information. If you like history, you will enjoy stopping here.
