We didn’t know what to expect, but we really enjoyed the chance to explore the Paracas Preserve. We had a small group - 6 in total - and headed into the desert. We drove for about 45 mins - 1 hour to see salt flats and flamingos, then parked and “hiked” up a sand dune for about 2-2.5 miles total. When I say “hike,” don’t expect a hiking trail. It was most climbing straight up the terrain. It was mostly rocky soil, so just bring shoes with a strong grip. The views were amazing, a beautiful coastline to our right, and just barren desert to the left. Seeing it in the golden light from the sunset was really spectacular.
Our guide was very energetic and wanted to make sure we had a good trip. He took so many photos of us - my phone eventually ran out of space. Beware, the van and the ride out into the reserve may make some nervous - it’s an older van and the roads were *very* rough, but if you lean into the adventure, you’ll be in for a great time.

El tour tal y como viene en su página web y además explicado muy bien en la oficina tanto el costo como lo q incluye y no. He disfrutado mucho al hacerlo y contento de haberlo hecho con ellos. 100% recomendado

Definitely best thing to do in Paracas! Tour was great,views amazing,some adrenalinę also included :D our guide Efrain was vert helpful and funny and our driver Christian drove us safely on difficult terrain.

Wir wollten von Paracas eine Tour nach Ica mit Pisco und Wein Tasting, Sandboarding und Buggy Tour machen. Playa Roja Tours hat uns dies völlig unkompliziert ermöglicht. Wir sind pünktlich 12 Uhr gestartet, bekamen eine Führung zu zweit im Weingut, fuhren dann nach Huacachina und hatten eine tolle Buggy/Sandboarding Tour mit Sonnenuntergang. Auch der Rücktransport war zuverlässig und ohne Probleme. Wir können Playa Roja Tours nur empfehlen :)

Great bikes to cycle around the National park and the coast to see the lovely scenery. Also stopped for a dip in the sea, highly recommended!

Guided tour for the whole day! Ballestas Islands and Paracas National Reserve in the morning, Huacachina in the afternoon.. Beautiful places, amazing guides and everything perfectly organized. Highly recommended

Great experience with amazing views! In a small group therefore warmer. Besides the Guide is great and takes beautiful pictures.
Even if you go to the reserve yourself during the day, I Trip Tip you to do this extra trek, as there are beautiful landscapes with a great sunset.
Provide walking shoes.

How can we find you in Paracas? We will have our own rental car and will be in that area around May 10th-11th. We are interested in booking 1) a private dune buggy or ATV through the Paracas National Reserve? and 2) Islas Ballestas 2 hour boat tour. What is the price for each tour please?
