My friends and I took a recent visit to Kansas City, and a Royals game was the first thing on our to do list.
The stadium is nice. Its a few miles outside of downtown, so be prepared to drive.
The staff was pretty friendly, and the stadium appeared pretty clean. Food options were good as well. Our seats were in the Rivals section in the outfield - I had a Roast vegetable and chickpea rice bowl (I was bbq'd out by that point). Lots of good vantage points for watching the game from all over the stadium, especially our section.
Overall, the stadium experience was a good one. Nothing really stood out as being very impressive or amazing. Just a solid place to watch an MLB baseball game.

We enjoyed our visit to one of the more historic stadiums! Even as a Bresers fan and they weren't there while we were in town, I would highly recommend visiting this iconic stadium!

Kauffman Stadium is a really well kept, inviting, and friendly stadium experience! I travelled here with my 2 best friends on our yearly jaunt to an MLB baseball game, and I have to say, we were not disappointed! The ushers and staff are super friendly and helpful, and there is not a bad seat in the place! The environment during the game is fun too, the fans are respectful and love their baseball in Kansas City!
The park is beautiful, with fireworks during the player introductions, color changing fountains behind the outfield seats, and a really nice looking scoreboard.
Food is great too, the usual ballpark fare, beers, dogs, ice cream, nachos, etc. Not unbelievably expensive, my friend from Wrigleyville said how affordable the food here was compared to at the Cubs' games!
Parking is $30 (we went on a Friday night, maybe cheaper during the week, not sure. That is what it costs us at home in STL for weekday Cardinals games, so I am assuming that is standard now). The parking lots are shared with Arrowhead Stadium right next door, and very safe and convenient with shuttle service as well for folks with mobility issues.
Check it out, we had a blast!!

Our first time here, and what better way to celebrate your 1st Anniversary together than at a ball game! Out of all of the MLB stadiums I have been to, this one takes 1st place ( sorry, Fenway)!
They have a great selection of foods and drink as well as ways to keep the crowd entertained and up to the minute updates on each play. The staff is helpful and polite. They even law enforcement there in case they are needed. There are plenty of restrooms and thankfully clean(a HUGE thanks to the staff for that). It's pretty cool that the fountains change when someone on the Royals hits a homerun and they even shoot off fireworks, too.
Needless to say, we will be looking into season tickets.

Was in Kansas City and decided to take in day game at Kauffman Stadium. Royals were playing the Texas Rangers. We stayed in the Westport District and even though the stadium was quite a distance, it was a breeze as we opted for public transportation (bus) and the great news is it was free. We took the 47 bus and the ride was very pleasant and dropped us off directly across the street from the stadium. Access is very good. Also, a good crowd for a day game and sufficient concessions were open. We opted for the Baby Ray's burnt ends and they were excellent.
Had a good time and now we can mark Kauffman off our list.

Great ballpark to see a game. Sight lines are excellent and seats are comfortable. Good amount of amenities, friendly staff, and easy access to parking and exiting the game.
The only issue is the concessions. Nearly 12 dollars for a pretzel. C'mon man!!

We had such a nice time at this field. We were in town to see the Twins play the Royals. Loved the stadium. Great food options! Loved that everything wasn’t packed in tight. Parking was easy and getting into the stadium as well as out was easier than we thought it was going to be. A very nice stadium. People that worked there were also very friendly.

I love to watch the Royals. I love the stadium . We tried the Pepsi Porch this time. It was so so awful. They had one lady serving drinks who was on her phone. They ran out of ALL the food and most drinks before the 5th inning. We paid for all you could eat and drink and did not get that!!! It was THE worst experience by far. We’ll stick to getting regular seating!!!!

I live this stadium - yes it’s old, no it’s no all modern and fancy - but it has character and it feels like you are, actually, at a stadium as opposed to some super fancy resort - the cool architecture of the stadium is so iconic, the crown topped scoreboard harkens to an individual personality for a team, the field is very nice and the view was fan friendly
They have a small museum which is full of serious baseball history so allow time to walk through - maybe 30 or 45 minutes -
If you are a baseball fan you will love your visit - if you are the Royals you will do all you can to persevere the uniqueness of your stadium

This was my second visit to Kauffman. It is an older ballpark but maintained well. The seats were comfortable and oriented to girls of play, there are a number of different & interesting food choices, there are places for children to play and a very nice hall of fame. The biggest thing is the friendliness of the team. Everyone was so welcoming and friendly. Royals are a small market team but the ballpark is a lot of fun.
