We went on Easter Sunday afternoon. Although the park was busy the trail was rather quiet. For the most part we had it to ourselves. There was only the occasion hiker and biker. It’s a nice trail meandering through the woods.if you are up to it, there is also a Tree Adventure Park.

En mi ultima visita a St Louis, tuve la oportunidad de visitar este bello parque.
Alrededor del lago tiene un excelente sendero peatonal, que te permite caminar varias millas, en un ambiente muy agradable y con pasisaje cambiante.
Vale la pena visitarlo.

A fun place to be in the summer; sail boat cove and kayak rentals. I love spending an hour or so on the lake in one of the rented kayaks in the summer time.

This is one of Saint Louis County's finest parks. The rowing club is incredible to watch or participate in. Go Ape is just great fun and the walking, biking, canoeing and jogging trails are better than any others. Really is a hub of recreation and nature. A must visit site.

We decided to go for a walk by the lake. We practiced social distanbce. The walk was nice. The lake id beautiful and peaceful. It was great to get out for a few minutes.

Wife and I were in the area and I decided to do an early morning run around the lake. Loved the nice trail and friendly folks. I was a little unsure of the trail markings but I just stayed close to the lake.

I had visitors in town looking to take a break from the beers and bars typical of vacation visits. We struck out on a hike around the lake on an unseasonably warm day that was perfect for our needs. Along the path a soccer field had available warm restrooms, which were a surprise and welcome find. The Restuarant was closed for the season but plenty of walkers on the path to provide a sense of safety. Walk/ hike was approx 6 miles.

Stopped in to see the waterfall and it was frozen over. Very cool to see! I would stop in if you’re in the area and it’s below freezing.

Went here last year, on March 26, 2019....was beautiful and loved all the animals! But the center was closed....:/ Wish we could have gone into that part! There were scouting groups of kids going thru the grounds and they were allowed to go into the center, but the public wasn't...not sure why?? Would like to go again and go inside the center...!! Never knew this was here, don't think it's advertised much?

Yes, but the lake is polluted, so I would catch and return, not eat the fish.
