Sometimes the hype just isn’t worth the experience.... but not in this case! It was busy, but the staff is working constantly and line goes fast. I want to go back and try some more flavors! Yum!

This place is always crowded. The selections are endless. & the custard phenomenal. Not much else to say but Ted wrote (or drew) the book on frozen custard!!

Famous Route 66 ice cream establishment. And for good reason! So many concoctions to choose from. It was very busy when we visited on a weekend, but they had a friendly girl out front that was guiding people to the shortest line and we were served quickly, within just a couple of minutes. Banana Split and the Hawaiian Concrete were both fantastic. Well worth going out of your way for at any time, but especially on a hot summer day!

This local legend is a great place to stop for dessert. We get the concretes which are made with frozen custard. They are very similar to DQ blizzards.
I'd recommend getting Cardinal Sin (Tart Cherries and Hot Fudge). It is awesome.

We read that frozen custard is a big St. Louis food and Ted Drewes was the place to have it!
Its only a short drive from Downtown St. Louis by the Arch.
So many flavors to choose from and everything looks delicious it's so hard to choose! I got the Muddy Mississippi and it was delicious!!

We visit here anytime we have company. Custard is very good, and the place is legendary. Prices are good, which is a bonus as you don’t pay extra for the name.

When in St Louis, visit the Gateway Arch and visit Ted Drewe's. If you don't do anything else you will be happy. We were only in the city for two days and visited here on the second of them. If we were here for a week we would have visited every day. Perhaps more than once a day too. It is marvellous. You will not be disappointed.
