We had seen this advertised and decided to make a visit while overnight in Springfield. It’s a big fork!! It’s rather hidden away in a small business park and easy to miss. It’s a fun photo op and worth a 5 minute stop.

This is in the middle of office buildings. It is a fun place to pose a photo. I just wish there was some explanation of it.

My parents thought I was a little crazy when I told them I wanted to go see this attraction. Thankfully, I had read some of the other reviews for it and knew it was behind the building at the address it is listed at. Since we went on a Sunday, the parking lot was empty and we didn’t have to contend with people getting in my photos. I had my dad take a couple of serious ones, plus a couple fun ones. It was really amusing overall. Though I am sad to report that technically it is the World’s 2nd Largest Fork, having been usurped by a 37 foot fork in Oregon, but it is still the heaviest at 11 tons. If you’re in Springfield, go find it.

There is a random large fork sticking out of the ground behind an apartment (?) building. Very random. Would be interested to know what the story is about why it’s there but there was no information we could find. Took some photos.

Visiting family in Springfield and I recommended we go to the biggest fork in the world. No on knew about it. But we headed out. My always carry of camera did not bring his camera, probably because he didn't think he would see anything.
Got there and it was alot of fun to see this and I took many pictures. Now looking to see if anyone has a matching spoon.

This photo spot was so funny! My 9yr old thought it was hilarious. Obviously this isn’t something you’re going to devote a lot of time to but it was an easy pit stop to make while in the area. FYI, if using Google maps don’t think you’re lost when you don’t see it after “arriving”. The fork is on the backside of the building.

There's not a lot to say. It's a splendid fork. It's kind of up against a random building in a corner. There's a parking lot to park in right in front of it, so no walking. and it's free so. Fun quick stop.
