Amanda does amazing work! Her pottery is unique and no two pieces are alike! We have about 15 to 20 different pieces of hers and plan on getting a whole dinner place set.
She is such a friendly lady and her prices are reasonable and fair!
She also has clothing and some of her artwork available as well.
If you pass through Glendive, you need to stop and check out this place and you need to make sure you pick yourself up a unique piece of pottery for yourself. They also make excellent gifts!
Only a fool would choose to pass this place up without stopping and getting something.

Everything in the shop was locally made. I wanted to buy it all! The shop employee wrapped my things carefully because I was traveling by plane.

Country Girl Clay is a must stop if you are traveling through Montana on I-94. This is a beautifully decorated shop with fabulous original-idea pottery pieces, and paintings. The works are displayed and lit in such a way so one can see the artistry of Amanda’s work. Gorgeous glazes and beautifully executed functional pieces abound. Her pottery is a beautiful representation of Montana's beauty. Amanda is friendly and helpful. She showed us here entire studio! What a wonderful experience! This amazing artwork is worth every penny. She also has more than just pottery! Unique women’s clothing, handmade jewelry, made in Montana gift items and a special section for infants. She will ship, or bubble wrap your selection so shopping while traveling is fun and easy! A real gem in an unassuming little town! Glendive is not normally thought of as a destination, but Country Girl Clay makes it worth the trip. A perfect stop to stretch your legs and purchase great gifts!
