Heading north towards Las Vegas from Laughlin, approached the small community of Cal-Nev-Ari situated along highway 95. In need of a pit stop, pulled off the road and paid a short visit to the Cal-Nev-Ari Casino. This small casino with only a few slot machines, lounge and café is perfectly situated approximately 32 miles from Laughlin and only 11 miles south of the town of Searchlight. Perfect location for travelers to make a pit stop, play a few dollars in the slot machines, and obtain a cold drink. This casino is open 24 hours a day / 7 days a week. Staff is friendly, and facility is neat and clean. If you interested in play the slots, be advised there are only 16 machines consisting of 1 one-dollar machine, 6 multi- denomination, 10 nickel and 14 quarter machines. A poker and blackjack also share a location at this minuscule casino. You will not get rich at this casino. But who cares if you have fun. Also located on site is the Cal-Nev-Ari Restaurant which serves breakfast, lunch, and supper. Meals are reasonably priced. A small motel is located on property for those who are worn out and in need of place to spend the evening. Spent an hour playing the quarter slots and left after winning $12.00 between the two of us. Unique casino. Enjoyed the break from driving and the heat (114 degrees at 2015 / 8:15 PM). In you are in the area, suggest stopping in for a break, drink, or a bit of fun.

Calnevari ! ! ! WOW ! ! LOVE IT ! ! I have stayed there over 10 times in last 3 years on my travels from Atlanta to Chico, Paradise and Redding California ! ! ! People of Calnevari are wonderful, Connie who works in the casino & bar, Marlo in the convient store, Nancy Kidwell previous owner, Ann Marie bartender, Bob the cook, Jenny the waitress ! ! !
I even took the family to Calnevari for visit and brought my 3 labrador retrievers ! !
LORD Willing, I would like very much to move to Calnevari ! ! !

I cannot understand anyone in business who decides to put personal problems above their business. I stayed at their motel another occasion and returned bc the value was good, things seemed fine. I dined at their diner more than once. Now I was returning to pick up a PKG sent to their post office but got there at 8 AM. The diner was open, the PO not til 10. So I once again ordered from their diner and then was looking for ways to use the time til the PO was available. I went to wash something off in the bathroom. The owner lady with the big hair came in and protested. Then once I was back out in the parking lot she seemed angry and said the PKG was probably already there. People had emphasized how I needed to wait til 10. Now another lady working there brought out the PKG and angrily handed it to me. I could not see how anything had changed from any time I'd been there previously and now. Then the cook cane out the back door and was angry at me for parking there though it is the only shaded area, and a man eating there parked there bc he had a dog. I have perishable items in my car. I also told her I was heading to the bathroom merely to wash my hands then I'd be gone. Upon returning she was screaming at me, and another lady who is heavy and wears her hair back in a pony tail and a big t-shirt cane out and rudely waved me on. A good bye to you wave. Out of nowhere they became angry and rude. The night I last stayed this younger guy with long hair had taken my order. When I returned to pick the food he laughed that the kitchen was closed. I had asked that question b4 ordering. Is there food service and he said yes. Wow.

This place is awesome!! Old nickle slot machines that actually pay you in coins! The friendliest peoe you could ask for and we all danced the git up!! Highly recommend stopping in here and saying hello.

The casino is spread out over a couple of buildings and no one got lucky anywhere. It was a Monday night but I still expected it to be a little more lively. Bar service was few and far between

Approximately one month ago I took a short trip from Las Vegas to see a small mining town. Enjoying my ride I somehow passed my turn off and ended up in this small town. Hungry I went inside to their restaurant and ordered breakfast. While I was waiting for my breakfast to be served I became curious about this little town and Googled it. What an amazing story. The story of a woman and her husband who built this town based upon a dream that the two of them had and although he has since passed she is still very much alive and involved with the running of this down. Intrigued by her story one of the waitresses pointed her out to me and I got up from my table walked over to the founder of this town and asked if she would be kind enough to take a picture with me. She smiled and did not hesitate. What a blessing to be able to meet a woman who thru dedication and hard work built this great little town. It made my whole day. I sent the picture to everyone that I know and they were all blessed by this story as well. If you have an opportunity to stop in this little town I would not pass it up. Google it and you will be just as blessed as I was . God bless the founder and builder of this town.

Nice casino. A lot of different machines. We really liked the restaurant that is ok n the casino. Very friendly employees.

This is a little/cute lounge/cafe with a few machines...Cafe is comfortable & cute ! This is in Cal-Nev-Ari, NV. is about 30 miles from Laughlin, NV. 10 miles S. of Searchlight, NV.

Stopped for lunch after riding in the Cal Nev Ari area. Have stopped many times pre riding or post when riding in the area. Breakfast lunch and not so sure about dinner in the restaurant. Bar and small casino too if wanted. Nice easy in and out of place.
