Fun energy and good vibes

Very fun and energetic event to go with friends. Think sparkle ponies of burning man. Now think of an entire festival of just them and you are one too. Good sound, drone shows and amusement park rides. Tolerable bathroom lines and hygiene in the VIP section. Funnily explicit flags. Shuttle service to and from pick up points. Shuttles were disorganized is all. Backdrop looked like a cross between Rekha and Aishwarya Rai this year. I felt very represented. PLUR!

EDC Vegas 2021 shuttle experience

2021 premier shuttle crews were awful!!! Will not buy premier bus in the future. You pay more money on the premier than standard bus to be treated like a criminal. On their website it says you can bring in a vape device with a sealed pod. So thats what I did. They throw away my device and pod and told me that's THC without even looking at it. I told them it's not. Their crew manager looked up online and realized it is NOT THC after I yelled. The second day they threw away my lipsticks and threaten me they gave my lipsticks to the cops????!!!! Like WT*??????? They sure can let the cops to use my lipsticks the hell???

拉斯維加斯電子音樂節裡面，除了聆聽電子音樂，還可以看到煙火表演。參加者大部分都很投入，可以看到很多特別的打扮，十分有趣。

Excellent EDM music event

First time attending EDC and enjoyed it very much. I did the VIP and camping experience (moonglow). VIP ticket can get you closer to the stages; shorter lines for bars and clean, air conditioned bathrooms inside the festival. Camping is from Thursday through Monday. If you love EDM music 24 hours a day this is the way to go. Music was non-stop! After the show at the Speedway which ended at 6:30 AM there were after parties at The Mesa, which continued to the evening. Stayed in a moonglow tent and was large enough to accommodate 4 people in sleeping bags. Air conditioner worked the entire time I was there. Overall great experience. Recommend for people that truly enjoy EDM music and don’t mind it 24 hours a day! Weather in late may was interesting....very cold and very windy at night. Overall great experience.

It's good, but definitely for everyone

So. I went to EDC with my boyfriend, fly all the way from east coast to Vegas on a Friday afternoon on a 6pm flight (EDC starts that night at 7pm - 5am). You can already see this is a bad start, especially given the 3 hour time difference. SO, like you guessed, we skipped the first night festival. We also have the return flight on Sunday, so literally, I paid 450 dollars for a one-night festival, bravo....
The carnival itself: it is amazing. I have never seen such a thing before, just walk around the whole field is like a workout, and it is truly a magic/wonderland. There are 6-8 DJ stages, surprisingly, they have very less interference. There are lots of amusement park rides there that you can play (free~). If you are truly into electronic music, like seriously loving it, this is so great. But there are a few tips I want to provide.
1. BUY THE SHUTTLE PASS. I read some post before saying the best way is to live some hotel close by and walk there. At the beginning I was sad I bought the shuttle ticket (kind of pricy 100 dollars per ticket. But when I look back, for an 80-mins round trip for 3 days, really not bad). Oh lord, there is a over 2-mile hike in the desert. and it is sooooo dark. One argument they make walking over driving is the traffic. But there is no traffic at all (at least around 9pm Saturday).
2. MAKE SURE YOU GET THE SHUTTLE TICKET DELIVERED TO YOUR HOME before the festival. Please make sure to have the shuttle ticket physically in your hand before the festival. EDC is really not environmental/electronically friendly. And my ticket actually got returned to the sender. I found that out the day before the festival. So I have to arrive Vegas first, take a uber to the box office to get my pass. Return to the designated pickup spot and take the shuttle. Such a bummer. That's also why I did not go on Friday.
2. DRESS WARM. It's late May in Vegas, and Jesus Christ, THAT IS the windest day in my life. The thing about EDC is, it's legal to be 99% naked publically. I felt I dressed too much. But even with a long dress, I almost cold to faint. The EDC hoodies and blanket sold out on the first night. I see so many people buying flags to cover them up on Saturday (including me -_-). So please, remember this is a dessert, and bring a stylish jacket just in case.
3. Think about the time difference (if you are from the east coast) and your usual life schedule. Arrive a day or at least half day before to sleep the hell out.

Good and Bad

So everything is good the events and the camping. However, the problem is that there are way to many people bumping and shoving each other which can cause a hazard problem they need to lower the amount of tickets sold. Also the photographers are a## holes I was sitting and was told to move from the spot that I was in first I dont care if you want to just take pictures do it somewhere else and stop being a inconvenience to others.

Not what it was in past years

Ive been going to edc for years now and I can completely say this year was a complete disappointment. The traffic was typical but I already expected 2 hrs or so.

The most noticible disappointments were the lack of quality food. By far this year had the worst food available and prices that wete beyond outrageous. 20 bucks for beef skewer... Not a few, 1 janky looking beef skewer.... Other years had some bomb food. I ate everywhere.

But the event is about the music right?
Lets talk about that. The sound systems at just about every stage were shrilly, distorted and you could barely make out the words or what song it was at times. They just tried to cover it all with bass. I think my home system sounds better.

The lasers this year were weak and pathetic. I have more powerful lazers I bought on Amazon.

And the worst part, the weak VIP section this year. The stages had hardly any by them and they didnt seem as elevated. But oh they had plenty of room for marques skydeck. Even the complimentary breakfast was weak this year. No fresh fruit or anything exciting just some donuts and pastries you can find at Wal-Mart.
Fireworks we're also weak. Just a complete disappointment.

Sensory Happiness

I went with my little sister just the 2 of us. Too much fun, everyone was so nice. Rode the Ferris wheel, got kicked out for dancing too much, so many lights, Mr. Owl always watching, great music, memories to last a lifetime. Be sure to hydrate! Be free, be safe and always know where to find help in case of dehydration. Medic stations are incredibly helpful.
