Starter/Pro shop snuck 2 groups in front of usat 1140/11/50 and made for unbearable round of 5 hours and 25 minutes.Course was good not great but unfortunately my group of 24 will never be back due to the slow play .We ate afterwards at restaurant end it was solid.But we would never be back due to excess vgroups being squeezed in(Oct 25th)

Outstanding experience! Great course and wonderful staff. An excellent practice area, so get there early. Prices are sneaking up on a little overpriced.

Given that Wolf Creek is really on a different level than most courses anywhere, my favorite course in Mesquite is Conestoga. The course is spectacular, nearly always in great condition, and populated entirely with unique holes. The starting hole is perhaps the only hole on the course that looks a lot like any other par 4 anywhere. But, 2 is a medium distance par 3 to, essentially, an island green (surrounded by desert ravine) with a tee to green drop of probably 1-1/2 to to clubs. Absolutely spectacular. If you are a picture taker, this will be your first one. And then, it just gets better and better.
The price is somewhat steep, but completely in line with other courses in this corridor (Las Vegas, Mesquite, and St. George.) In my mind, the price is well worth it (explaining my annual pilgrimage to Mesquite for a golf getaway from up north.)

I do not golf, but I stopped into the clubhouse while in Mesquite. Best Bloody Mary's ever!!! Had a great breakfast. Was welcomed as if I was a regular.

Although a good golf course, the private owners are only interest in money. To play the course takes no where near 4 1/2 hours, much closer to 5 1/2 hours. The staff is prohibited in speeding up play. It is not a pleasant experience.

Great golf course, great staff, great food. You will enjoy this experience. The course is beautiful, playable and offers a variety of tees for all golfers.

This is a great layout. It is my favorite course in the area and the only one I would enjoy playing every day. However, the course is in poor condition. The current ownership is failing this beautiful course. The maintenance crew do not seem to understand what they are doing. Every time they get a part of the course in good shape, they do something to make it bad again. The greens were finally in very good shape, so they aerate (10 weeks before they shut down to overseed). They waited too long to kill out the Rye overseed to get the Bermuda grass to come back in, so there are many bare or patchy areas. The hole cuts are poor and they don’t really think through where they place them. Just so many things they could do or do better. The course was run by Troon originally and it was in amazing shape (one of the best courses in the state), but with current ownership and course management, it is a hollow shell of its former great self.

The good...Beautiful layout. Gorgeous views on most every hole. Very friendly staff. The bad....At $150 this course is grossly overpriced, especially compared with other courses in the area. Had they not required me to prepay with a 48 hour cancellation with I booked my tee time over the phone I would Not have played when told the fee upon checking in. The ugly....Once again this is Not a $150 golf course. The grass was very thin on many of the fairways. You are better off hitting out of the closely mown rough. Very sparse grass around some of the greens. Recently punched making it nearly impossible to hit a decent clean chip shot. Greens were rock hard. Wouldn't stop even with a wedge. Couldn't find ball marks.

This is a well planned golf course that takes a few times playing it to really get a good feel for how to play each hole. The first 3 holes are pretty straight forward, but then it gets interesting. There is a drivable par 4 on the front nine and the back nine has a couple of holes that are more about shot making than power. Well maintained and nice views of the surrounding mountains. The greens need some help too long and the bermuda grass moves the ball too much when you putt.

Nice layout is only thing going for this place
Green were horrendous. I had shag carpet in the 1970’s that was shorter
They should invest in some mowers
Staff inattentive and disinterested
