“Nevada Museum of Art”
这是我们第二年来这家博物馆。他们一直有特别的展品，都非常迷人。不一定是典型的艺术博物馆，尽管他们也有。今年的主题是“马”，很棒的展览。

“挺棒的博物馆”
我出差的时候中途有空，就决定去这里过一个休闲的下午。首先，如果你想去一楼以上的地方，必须要交10美元的进场费。因为一楼只有礼品店、餐厅和一个在屏幕上显示的小展览，你要看东西必须要上楼。虽然我是从纽约来的，我觉得这个还是有点过分了。博物馆本身还是有一些好的展览的，包括一个当今社会马的演变，这个真的很有启发意义而且做的很美。这里还有些其他艺术家的展览也不错的。你基本上花2小时就能把这里逛完，所以你去其他地方前可以在这里短暂停留一会。

Good Gift Shop; Brovo for the Museum

One of my favorite places in Reno. It's a small museum with a Nevada theme and always houses a special expo that is worthwhile. Today it was a Californian sculptress who spent a lot of time in the mountains above Reno. Here work was a pleassure. And there was a beautiful slowing fabric piece in the atrium, multi-colored. Good gift shop.

Nice surprise

First of all - free parking adjacent to the entrance. Then- an interesting architectural structure housing the collection.
Go up to fourth flor for a great view of the city.
Then work your way down to view the collection.
Highlight for me was a large Martin Ramirez drawing- terrific
A nice gift store is on ground floor

While the building is fine, unless there is a special exhibit going on, there is really not much there. If the museum owns any more classical art, it is not on display. Mostly photographical displays were present and some modern art pieces.

A Unique Art Museum

It is always a pleasure to come to this unique museum, unique because it celebrates art that represents Nevada. But there is always a special expo here that is worth seeing, this time about a famous architect who has been featured in a PBS special. I had a good time. Unusual architecture.

New exhibition coming

We enjoyed the time we spent here. There are several interesting exhibits with native artists. All of the third floor and part of the second is closed for preparation for new displays.

Small museum but they had interesting art. Nice place to visit if you have time. Since it is air conditioned, nice on a hot day.

Always Interesting Exhibits

Yes, the exhibits we saw this visit were no exception. All were interesting and eclectic as always. The Four by Rose Simpson was different as was the fire works displays as art by July Chicago. The Latimer School is a large collection of watercolors depicting mainly northern California redwoods and other similar outdoor scenes. The watercolors were by Lorenzo Latimer as well as some of his students. The student's works were almost identical to Latimer's. Another large exhibit was the Art of Jean LaMarr. It contains large paintings and murals and much more depicting her heritage.The most unusual exhibit for me and my husband was Picasso in Clay. There were plates, bowls and pitchers with the easily recognized Picasso portrayal of faces and animals. No visit is complete without a look in the gift shop.

Reno's Treasure

I love to come to this museum whenever I am in Reno to see what they are showing. Themes are art of the desert, art of Nevada, and art of the land. I especially enjoyed a Judy Chicago expo. And the cafe is lovely. Free parking.

Best little art museum

One of our favorite places to see art. The Romantic Radicals was a wonderful treat. They get exhibits that the big guys dont. Cafe is always part of the experience.
