This is a real gem of a forest with hiking trails, main road and an artist's studio to explore. There are 10 miles of trails with sculptures on all of them. You can spend an hour or several traveling the various trails. The main road trail is steep but you can stop along the way to look at the sculptures.

Really neat spot for an afternoon hike! The trails can be a bit steep but aren't really any big deal for the average person. While you hike you'll pass by many cool sculptures as well as the big studio barn/warehouse they're made in. I went in October where the foliage was beautiful along with the sculptures and recommend coming in the fall.

The remains of the old granite quarry were fun to see. It was a perfect fall day for hiking a colorful forest. Add over 100 sculptures from all over the world, and you have an ideal place to visit. We hiked 2 1/2 hours and there was so much more to see. An unlocked port-a-potty would have been a nice addition.

Wonderful place- great walk - though steep - but stopping to see sculptures makes it all worthwhile. Great place for families and pets. Have visited twice in May and will go soon again. Sculptures are beautiful. Not to miss.

took a short hike up the road. Had heard about this place and been wanting to try it for a while. Granddaughter and I are out of shape so we stopped up where the turn off is for the Summit. She loved seeing all the difference sculptures and trying to image what they were before reading the names. She loved touching the smooth parts and then putting snow on other areas to see the different colors come through.
Will be back again and we have given ourselves a new distance to climb to and each time going further. I do wish the maps were easier to read and some trails marked better. Not sure if some areas you can loop around or come down the way you went up. We will continue to hike here.

This is a great combination of art and nature trails with benches so you can sit and just take in the beauty of it all.

This is well worth the trip! The staff is friendly and the sculpture is wonderful. Artists come from all over the world to create the art.
If all you want is a walk in the woods, it is a great place to walk with the summit trail leading to a beautiful view of the Monadnock Mountains.
No matter how much time you spend here, you'll wish you had more...

This is a beautiful place for a walk or a hike. The art is created by artists from all over the world who come to create pieces for the site. More new art, primarily from stone and metal, is created and installed on the hill every year. It's an amazing place.

We walked to the top of this former ski area turned into an outdoor display of about 100 sculptures placed along the many trails. Open year round. Many sculptures are made from granite by sculptors from all over the world. Three were made this year during a three week period that ended yesterday, October 5, 2019. Beautiful view from the top.

I'm surprised at how unassuming the entrance to this wonderful hiking spot is. I had to turn around after passing it. I've been there once now and will definitely return, for you can't see it all in one visit (I don't think), and I'm hoping I won't feel as lost with each visit. I felt like the trails could have been marked more clearly and am sure that more than once, we started with the intention of following one trail and ended up on another. Since there's so much interesting artwork to see, that didn't create any disappointment, but I'd have like to follow one plan for this visit and go another way next time. I ended up learning where we were based on the sculpture we were standing in front of (hahahaha). Maybe just hiker error and others don't experience this problem? Anyway, all forgivable because it's so nice to be out hiking and having the opportunity to be surprised by the next sculpture that you come upon, and have as much time as you want to really enjoy it.
