Great sour beer made the German way. They use yeast, not lactobaccillis. It is beer,not yogurt! That is excellent but the dark, high abv. Bourbon barrel aged beer beers they make are really good and will keep yo warm during a long dark winter. They use lots of local “secret” ingredients that work well. Go see if you can guess how they do it or just enjoy the glow. This beer snob thinks this place is great.
Small strip mall on west side of Town on Amherst has a nice bar, lots if tables and dark wood for a pub feel.

I make a monthly trip down from Gilford and its worth the drive. Dave and Danielle are great hosts upstaged only by the Weissmuller beers. I have become a fan of the watermelon, peach, blueberry, and raspberry. They tend to be open one weekend per month with next weekend being that for July. Dave is good at responding to emails so send him one and plan on a visit. I will be there next Sat as it is worth the drive.

I took the trip up to one of my (formerly) favorite breweries today, and was disappointed. When I drove by I thought that they must have moved: empty parking lot and dilapidated building, but a local assured me they were in the same spot. Don't believe Face Book, or the WBB website (woefully poorly maintained): they are not open on Saturdays! C'mon guys: you can do a lot better!

Stopped by for some beer sampling and bought a couple of bottles of stout. Tasty but over priced if you are on a budget. The server was attentive and very knowledgeable which made the visit interesting and informative.

The experience at White Birch Brewing was good. While you are there you are able to taste a variety of beers that they have on tap or in their cans/bottles. They have plenty of beer to choose from for purchase to take home. It was friendly inside and one of the co-owners was the one working behind the table. Overall it was a good time, I would recommend hitting up White Birch as you work your way through the area. You can probably spend about an hour sampling and talking before you make your way out.
