Myself and friends found this resort after having reservations at another hotel that we were unhappy with. We couldn’t be more impressed with this resort. We each had our own room for our respective families and had magnificent views with a very clean room that had two Murphy beds, full kitchen, and dining areas as well as a comfortable living room. We used the pools (indoor and out) daily and hot tubs were nice. Food was great though a tad expensive.
One morning my friends and their kids did the gondola ride and zip lines which were awesome.
We were very impressed and plan to return. Highly recommended as it is also not far from many other area activities in Lincoln.

Enjoyed the "Sky Gondola" (aka Alpine Car) ride up to the top of the mountain. Very nice to see the leaves from that vantage point. Great views at the top of the mountain. Tickets for the ride up and back are a bit overpriced, so I had to deduct one point from my rating. But overall, well worth doing!

I always stop here after getting off the Kancamagus Highway on my yearly autumn trip. There's a lot to do at the resort -- hiking, trail biking, the gondola, etc. -- but I just like viewing the nearby foliage. It was hard to tell if the colors were 'at peak' or 'past peak' because the foliage in this area just isn't as vivid as it used to be. But, it was a very hot and humid summer.

The gondola ride to the top was great. The views from the observation tower were amazing. Exploring glacier caves was fun, but NOT what I expected. Instead of walking into a dark, cold area, we followed signs to squeeze, scramble & climb through 10 areas. I was afraid I’d get stuck more than once, and I was laughing so hard, my grown children started laughing too.

Came in the shoulder season. We don’t ski. We landed here as part of a Bluegreen vacations timeshare presentation. The room was clean. We stayed in a king club room with jetted tub. We got what was described. However they have attached to these rooms a club room with two double Murphy beds, a balcony and a kitchen. If we had our family the combo would have been great and I can’t understand why the resort didn’t just give it to us considering the hotel was a ghost town. Alas we had no kitchen which was why I wanted it. However they did rent that room to someone else. How you access it is from the hotel hallway is one door, you open that door with your key and then you are in a small entryway with two doors both where key is required. Okay not a big deal they rented the other room we didn’t see them the entire time but we heard them every single time they went in/out of the room. Kind of annoying. The breakfast was edible, dinner in the pub also edible but really nothing more than that no flare. For the price I expect more. I’m sure they realize that Lincoln is a ghost town before Memorial Day and finding an open food establishment was difficult. The locker room with hot tub, sauna and steam room was nice and clean. The pool also nice. Didn’t use outdoor hot tub, I wasn’t even sure it was working. I suppose this place in the winter for people who do ski this place would be nice (can literally ski right to the slope) but shoulder season is thumbs down. Staff were friendly. I had the windows open in the room which was also nice for fresh air as rooms tend to be quite stuffy but we must have been close to a staff entrance, each morning at 5am someone came in in a black Jetta? Volkswagen anyways, booming their music enough to wake me up. Annoying. Also no do not disturb signs for your door so housekeeping comes in whether you want them to or not as a standard I assume. It turned out to be ok but it would be nice to be told that as that is not the standard everywhere else. The resort said it was under construction and hopefully that was to update the decore because just about everything in it is very dated.

I recently visited Loon Mountain Ski Resort with high hopes for an enjoyable skiing experience. While there were elements of the resort that were commendable, I feel compelled to share some constructive feedback based on my visit.
Firstly, I must address the grooming of the trails. Unfortunately, during my time at the resort, I noticed that many of the trails were not adequately groomed. As someone who values smooth and well-maintained slopes for skiing, this was quite disappointing. I believe that improving the grooming standards would significantly enhance the overall skiing experience for visitors.
Additionally, I feel compelled to address the issue of smoking policy enforcement within the resort premises, particularly in the gondola and closed lifts. It was disheartening to observe individuals smoking in these confined spaces, which not only compromises the comfort of other guests but also raises health and safety concerns. Enforcing a strict no-smoking policy in these areas is essential to maintaining a welcoming and healthy environment for all visitors.
As a result of these issues, I must admit that I hesitate to bring my family to Loon Mountain Ski Resort in the future. While the resort boasts beautiful slopes and scenic views, the lack of proper grooming and enforcement of smoking policies detracted significantly from the overall experience.
I genuinely hope that you will consider these points as valuable feedback for the ongoing improvement of the resort. By addressing these concerns, I believe that Loon Mountain Ski Resort can further solidify its reputation as a premier destination for skiing enthusiasts and families alike.

Beautiful views, smooth ride, and fun snow to play in. We rode NH’s longest scenic gondola skyride and enjoyed awesome views across the White Mountains.

The skiing was awesome and the snow was well groomed. I am not someone who would usually write a review but I had to on this. When my car broke down in the parking lot, the employees went above and beyond to help me. The security team brought me to the hardware store to get a new battery, they called down the master electrician to help, and they jumped the car. Each and every employee was extremely kind and helpful, they really saved me and helped me get back home 4 hours away.

We stay at deerpark every year where loon mountain offered a shuttle to the main ski area. We went this year and they said loon will only offer a shuttle to south peak wtf! Was such a nice convenience to avoid traffic and not have to worry about driving. Very disappointed In loon mountain resort

We just finished a short, two day mini-vacation at Loon before Christmas and had a great time staying at the Loon mountain lodge. The ski in/ski out location was extremely convenient. We rented a four person studio with just the right sized mini-kitchen. We were lucky that snow-making had a lot of the mountain open, and enjoyed breakfast and dinner at the lodge. We're not expert skiers or boarders, but enjoyed the trails and the quick-to-Loon Peak gondola.
What really stood out to us, though, was the friendliness of the entire mountain staff; from the front desk, to the restaurant servers, to the lift operators. We want to give a special shout out to John at the rental shop, who not only helped some of us cheerfully and quickly get going in the morning, but then, during lunchtime, gladly helped adjust my daughter's own recently bought snowboard bindings that were giving her a bit of a problem. All the staff at Loon seemed like they were making it their priority to make sure we enjoyed our stay.

Please tell me about Loon Mountain in the summer and what there is to do. We'd like to do the gondola. What do you do when you are up there? Whats to see, hike, etc? Any info about Loon, the gondola, etc is appreciated.

There are several lifts including the gondola, that is all included in the lift ticket. The rental fees are separate if you need equipment.

In regards to night tubing, is their music or anything fun that separates it from daytime tubing? Fun lights, glow sticks. Going with 2 12 yr olds and 3 adults. Wondering if it makes a difference what time pick? Thx!

Hi,
We did not see any tubing at Loon. The mountain closed at 4pm for skiing and boarding. We were not aware of any tubing in the evenings.
