Beautiful Park

We have been here MANY times and love the park. The walking trail is exactly 1 mile long and mostly flat.

Wonderful easy walk

The park is shaded & a very easy walk. Parts are decked for easy walking as well. There are benches along the way. Restrooms are also available although not the cleanest but it did have soap.

Nature in the city

The trail around the pond is a 1 Mile loop, makes it easy for planning a workout. Plenty of parking, public restrooms which are usually pretty clean, and trash cans near the bathroom building. There's a pool open during the summer (for residents) and a playground open all year. I usually see some wildlife - turtles, ducks, fish, and other little wetland critters. A lot of people bring their dogs, but most obey the leash laws.

The trail is fairly level, not many roots or rocks to trip on, and well maintained. You can wear sneakers if you don't have hiking shoes. I have also seen some people out in flip flops and they do fine... It does get pretty icy during the winter after snow gets packed down hard on the trail, wear ice cleats on your boots!

It's pretty quiet, you can't hear much road noise even though the highway isn't far. Overall, a great place to get a dose of nature during any season, even in the city!

Shaded, Well-Maintained Trail Perfect for a Low-Impact Stroll

This is a really nice park located in Manchester. It’s easy to get there by car, with plenty of parking.

The walking trails are well-maintained, flat and easy to navigate. I think it’s fairly manageable for folks with mobility aids.

I really enjoyed spending time here while waiting for a friend to get off of work, and I will visit again in the future.

One of Manchester’s rare Gems

This once wooded area has spawned into a beautiful spot for year round recreation. The park has a beautiful pool, one mile walking trail, small fishing pond, and clean bathrooms.
Whether you’re looking to escape the heat in the city for some shade and breeze or your looking to begin your exercise routine or you need to burn off that kid energy this is the place to do it. In the winter they clear the pond and offer a beautiful New England ice skating experience (bring your own skates).

Sweet spot for a lovely stroll

We enjoyed a stroll around the lake. The trails were well maintained and quite level. It was fun to venture onto a small island. The path there appeared to be made of logs that beavers had chomped. Sadly, in this time of Covid 19, hardly anyone was wearing masks.

Nice walk

Enjoyed the walk around the little lake with the dogs. Not a huge area, playground for kids and a mile walk around the lake.

Great city park

Lovely grounds great place for children all seasons ..has plsygroubd, ball fields pond for fishing and almost two miles of walking trails. swimming pool n summer is very crowded but my two yr old loves this place

Nice 1 mile walk with dog

Stopped here for a short walk. The trail is shaded, which is good on a hot day. We, and the dog, enjoyed the stroll.

Fantastic way to spend a day. Get exercise by walking the 1 mile trail around the pond, then let the kids play in the playground. There's a public pool too. Always clean.
