This is definitely a must-do if in the North Conway area; The view is spectacular to say the least! Makes for some great pictures
The drive is somewhat crazy (for ~5-10min), be prepared to give your car a workout and remember to stay alert!

Scary and dangerous drive, there is no warning to tell you the road is extremely dangerous, uphill and winding. Once on the path, I had to keep driving, couldn't turn around cuz it's dangerous. I think it's very scary and dangerous, cuz the car breaks could overheat and stuff. Not for everyone, I hear you could hike it instead of driving.

Beautiful views! You have to walk over some rocks but not hard to do at all. Make sure you check out all sides of the overlook. Recommended by a random local at a restaurant. Glad we went!

One in a wheelchair and one on a cane and we had no problem getting to the 1st overlook about 200 ft. from where we parked the car. The rest of the party went to the 2nd lookout that was not wheelchair or accessible and on a cane questionable. Definitely recommend this stop.

Drove up the Cathedral Ledge Road and parking is very close to short path to look out area. Walk is easy and the area is fenced. The view is extensive - you will be amazed how far the view is!

Not much to say, but if you drive up and walk around up top you will not be disappointed. Great views so bring a camera and your favorite group of people and grab some memory photos.

You can park on Cathedral Ledge Road and a very short and easy walk up to the fenced in ledge. The view is awesome and you can see North Conway center from this location!!!

Take the road to the end. There were people rapping when we were there. There’s a fence around main part of look out. Great views !!

has nice views over north conway west to east. you can basically drive to the top then 200 foot walk to cliff

I do not know the answer to this question, but if you are fine with hiking, you can hike up to Cathedral Ledge, which is what we did (even though the road was open). Note: It is not an easy hike. You can look on All Trails to get more information on the hikes to Cathedral Ledge.

Absolutely. But you may want to plan a midweek ceremony are it gets crowded on weekends especially this time of year. FYI, it’s a bit of a climb in a vehicle but easy to accomplish. The return trip is easy, just use lower gears with low speeds to be kind to your brakes.

The gate at Cathedral Ledge is now closed for the season (as of November 16, 2017). It will re-open in spring as weather permits.
