We visited ski works to rent skis and buy ski gear for my son. They were super nice, helpful and also knew we wanted to ski the next day so they quickly fitted the skis right there while we were in the shop. Love supporting local stores and this is one I'm glad to support.

Went in to get a snowboard and boot rental. The gentleman set me up with boots and a board. Got to the mountain and made one of the most uncomfortable runs. I realized he had given me mens boots which, as all of you ladies know, cant be used if you have any sort of calf muscle. I seriously was in so much discomfort that I couldn't even make a 2nd run. Returned the package this a.m. to the lady at the register. Told her about what happened. She said, and I quote, "well what do you expect?! They're rentals!". She was so unbelievably rude. Honestly lady, for $30, I expect something I can actually use. I will never go back. I will never recommend that place. I've been shopping there since 1992...until today. Rude. Just rude.

Rented Kayak and paddleboard for a week. Great service. Employees helped tie down paddleboard on car and gave great pointers on how to get to Ossipee lake. Was pleased and would recommend

This is a great store in the valley. Have a great selection of high end ski equipment and kayaks. The clothing selection is amazing. John and Shelly the owners are the best.

This place is so friendly and helpful every season. You can rent a kayak and go down the river , it is about 1-3 hours to the main lake depending on the current. Dont forget to stop at the rope swing at the end! In the winter, skip the lines at the mountains and rent your snowboard or skis here!
