Excellent, well kept campground. Facilities were clean. Specifically went here as an off grid campground, which unfortunately means you have to deal with people that can't seem to go to a campground to enjoy nature. Instead they have to bring all their city crap, which means generators to run all that crap. Two wonderful, quite, peaceful nights. Then the third afternoon, someone from Arkansas rolled in with a monstrosity of a trailer, triple axle, three slideouts. He plopped a satellite dish about 40 ' behind his RV, in the MIDDLE OF A LAWN that everyone uses to walk to the bathrooms/showers/laundry facility. He cranked his generator up soon after arriving (mid-afternoon), and didn't turn it off until 9:51pm. Three of us from three different sites when to talk to him around 8:45pm, He was rude, insisted when he checked in he was told he could run it from 7am-10pm. Not true - as posted in registration office down the road, they can run them 1 hour in the morning, and one hour in the evening. He cranked it up at 7:20am the next morning. I spoke to the office when I was leaving. They said they would talk to him, but "there isn't anything we can do once we leave, he can do whatever he wants because we aren't here to stop him". Not only that, he arrived two days prior to his registration.
I would guess he was kicked out of his previous campground... But the answer was completely unacceptable - yes, you can do something, you ban him from ever booking at a NH State Park again! People like that - with the obvious hundreds of thousand tied up in that equipment, can obviously afford a private campground that has power, and they wouldn't ruin everyone else's evening with their rudeness and generator.

Spent an amazing long weekend in Brookie cabin this summer and we cannot wait to reserve for next year. We had excellent access to the trail system for UTV, ponds for fishing, campfire, cabin, and quiet. No complaints, it was a memorable stay.

We (4 ladies) just got back from a 3 day/2 night stay at Snowy Owl Cabin at Coleman State Park. We were all so impressed with the friendly, helpful staff, and how CLEAN the cabin was. The whole park was so well maintained, it was beautiful. We visited Keaton in the office a few times with questions to help with our kayaking plans, and Danny checked in to make sure all was well with the cabin - Excellent Staff! We can't say enough for this park and those people taking care of it. All of us want to go back for another stay and have more kayaking adventures. This is a special place and we appreciate all those kind, friendly, helpful, hard working people making it so wonderful. This is a top notch vacation escape.

Two gorgeous lakes/ponds, hiking, fishing, fires, loons, owls, chickadees, chipmunks, and sights you won't ever forget! Pack away your phone and other electrical doodads (decent reception mile and half down road) and kick back. Incredible waterfall on edge of road just a couple of miles away at Bear Brook, mountains, a cool breeze, wood smoke, friendly campers and a great staff that couldn't do enough to help. At one point I could see Canada, Vermont, NH, and Maine at one time. Steaks on the grill, corn and potatoes in the fire, stars you can almost touch, the smell of coffee and bacon while listening to the loons and feeding the chipmunks in the morning. This is what life is all about!!

The park is way off the beaten path. No cell service and our site didn’t have electric. Great views. Not recommended for small children

This small little campground (25 sites) is tucked off the main road (Route 16) and dead ends at Little Diamond Pond. There is a small local gravel road that continues about another 1.2 miles to Big Diamond Pond. Its location makes it a great spot to truly get away including zip, zero, zilch cell phone reception!
There are RV compatible sites but there are no hookups and all the camping areas are grass. There is a small "dumping station" within the campground. Other amenities include several water spigots, a very nice and well maintained (cleaned twice a day the entire time we were there) restroom and shower area. There is also a small laundry room with coin operated machines. Also on site is a soda vending machine and an AED. One thing to note is that the welcome center has been moved from the main campground to Coleman Estates. The turn is about .2 miles BEFORE the campground. This is where you check in and pick up your car tag. You can also purchase a few small items (t-shirts, cheap camping gear, a cup of coffee or slice of pizza, fire wood, etc.). Downside to this part of the facility is that there is a MASSIVE tv on when you walk in the door which was quite strange.
We stayed at site 21 which is a nice wooden lean to. We decided to stay in the site for two reasons. First of all, it is one of the closest sites to Little Diamond Pond and you can see the pond from the site. Secondly, it was forecasted to rain over half the time we were there (which it did) and we wanted a little extra protection from the elements. The only drawback to the lean to is that it is one of the only sites with absolutely NO grass in it. So with all the rain it got a bit muddy but the added roof over our heads was totally worth it.
If you enjoy fishing, falling asleep to the sound of loons and owls chatting back and forth then this is the spot for you!

We stopped to check out this campground and it was so pretty! We dropped our kayaks and spent an hour kayaking the shores of the crystal clear pond, that fishermen were pulling trout out of. Campground was grassy and well cared for. We probably wouldn't camp there because it's a hub for ATVers and we don't care for the noise, but it WAS pretty.

Cant wait to go back!! Gorgeous setting, easy access to trails, hiking, kayaking, just about anything you want to do in the great outdoors. Very clean and the staff is friendly and super helpful

This campground is open year round I believe. Before it is also summer cabins one can rent. The park is on the ATV route and one can enjoy Diamond Pond and Little Diamond Pond.
There is a bathroom open year round there and the campground has showers and washing machine/dryers to use with coins.
There were a few people out enjoying the warm September weather and kayakers enjoying a paddle around the lake.

We rode up to the park on our ATVs. It is a nice place to stop while on the trail to use the very clean restrooms!!
