Had a great experience with our kids surf lesson. Staff was nice and very accommodating. Lessons are 2 hours. I jumped in and helped push the kids into waves. Def recommend.

Went with a group of 7 on a beautiful Friday afternoon! Staff was welcoming and fun! Initially my kids didn't want to go on a tour, they just wanted to rent on our own but so glad we did the 2 hour tour on the bay side. The guides were fun, gave us instructions when needed and let the kids be kids! The tour was great so we knew where to go and what the best routes were. Highly recommend! Thank you for a nice afternoon!

Anything you need at the South Jersey shore on lbi related to surfing and paddleboarding and more you have only one place to go. From rentals, to lessons, to eco tours, to repair to purchased to entertainment to advice & guidance. ... Oh, and also SUP/Paddleboard Yoga.
Run by lbi locals who grew up on the sandbars - teen surfer, lifeguard, organizer & supporter of all types of fundraisers for the local community.
This is the place to go.

My husband and I booked a lesson as first time paddlers for SUP. Rick was our guide. He gave great instructions that had us on our feet and paddling in no time. We took a two hour tour of the bay. Rick was a knowledgeable guide and made it fun and interesting. I highly recommend this company and tour.

Had a great evening learning the basics of this instrument. Class ranged from very young to those of us who have reached the 'age of elegance'. Staff was knowledgeable and patient especially with those of us who are all thumbs!

Glad you had a good time! Our regular free lessons are during the summer on Tuesday nights as you know. We just decided that for “small business Saturday”, the weekend after Thanksgiving, we will be holding a free holiday songs workshop at the shop during the afternoon. Swing by if you are down!

My teens have been self taught surfing on LBI over half their life & we signed them up for surf lessons to get some additional tips/ tricks. We had to pay half down and needed to reschedule a couple times due to weather conditions which they were very happy to accommodate. They not only had a great time w/ their instructor but they learned a few things along the way and he made it very fun! He was super friendly & encouraging as well. We will definitely return not only as a customer but sign up for paddle board lessons next year! Thanx to everyone @ South End!

My daughter and I requested a private tour because I am not a swimmer and I have never done paddle boarding before. Although it’s not something they regularly do they were willing to accommodate us and did so at a very fair price. The staff were so accommodating so knowledgeable and so kind. They made the day really funny as well as fun and safe. I can’t say enough about this place I will definitely be back many more times. I highly recommend going out with them to have a great day on the water.

My sister and I had a great time learning how to paddle board today, and seeing some young herons and other local birds in the process. Rick is a fantastic instructor!

I had such a great private surf lesson! I really wanted to use my own board, and get more comfortable in NJ summer waves. I felt great afterwards, learned so many helpful tips, and had fun as well. Everyone in the shop is super friendly, accomodating, and professional. Highly recommend these guys if you are looking to learn how to surf or advance your skills : )

OMG my sister and I who are women of a certain age were dying to try SUP. We booked our lesson and tour and obsessed all week. Rick was an amazing guide with the patience of a saint. He was an excellent teacher and took us out into the bay feeling confident and happy. Rick knows a lot about LBI and kept us entertained with stories. We felt very safe in his care.
We had so much fun and will do it again!
