The temple is spacious, has adequate car parking space, has banquet halls and Kalyana Mandapam and a good cafeteria. They have good indoor caterers to cater to the needs of any religious, social or wedding events. The place is serene and ideal for all Indian functions, pujas and weddings as experienced by me between 17th and 19th of December. Though I found most volunteers helpful, I single out Mr. Anil Tadimalla for making you feel at home when you want to book a venue , he has been helpful too providing other details as required by me.

Today my wife and I drove to Bridgewater to see and take pictures of the architectural work and craftsmanship that went into building the magnificent Sri Venkateswara Temple. My father had taken pictures many years ago of beautiful Temples in India on one of his trips, so I wanted to see this beautiful Temple here in NJ.

The Venkateswara temple ( Balaji temple) in Bridgewater, NJ is a beautiful temple with a nice Indian architectural structure. Wearing Mask was mandatory though none of the other public attractions insisted on it. The temple is quiet and peaceful inside with idols of most of the Hindu Gods. The main idol is of Venkateswara Swami. On weekends there are lot of devotees . There is ample parking place within the temple's premises. Tasty South Indian snacks are avilable at the temple's canteen. If you are in New Jersey, it is worthvisting the temple.

I was kicked out of the temple for wearing a short. But I saw all the priests roaming shirtless. How terrible can a rule be?
One of the horrible experiences I’ve ever had in any temple.
I went to Tirupathi Balaji Temple wearing a short, and this temple kicked me out today.
I didn’t ask a volunteer why am I not allowed with a short when priests are allowed shirtless. He said yes, they are allowed because they’re priests. Lol. So a devotee means nothing to them.
Great way to manage a temple. 👏🏼
Never coming back again.

Visit to he temple was highly disappointed. The person/lady sitting at the front desk was extremely disrespectful and authoritative. I have never ever encountered someone like this at the entrance of a temple - she started yelling at my kid, made him so scared that he started crying.
Me and my husband both were wearing masks (please note: CDC no longer mandates it) but we still did. At the entrance we realized our kid wasn't. The lady at the front desk in a VERY rude/loud voice tells us that you can't get in without a mask. Without arguing and being respectful of the temple premise my husband left to pick a mask for our kid.
While waiting, I simply asked my kid to step aside and stand beside me - and the lady yelled again - NO, You can't! I even clarified, we aren't going in (just stepping at the side) and there is no need to yell at the kid. Instead of apologizing she made a scene and started lying, accusing us of tress-passing and threatened to call the police! I even tried telling her that I hope you understand this is a temple. I don't think the person's behavior was normal. She shouldn't be sitting at the door of a temple and oozing so much negative energy. I even feel it's a safety issue
Management should have someone more humble, normal, welcoming and someone who understands Indian values. Even management seems to be supportive of her behavior - they completely ignored what a maniac she was been instead assumed its a mask issue.

We are here in NJ for so long , and I can’t believe I didn’t review bridgewater temple :). One of our fav temples and one of the best in the whole of US. Very very awesome
Ambience and highly spiritual. They have expanded the building so much now . Amazing place of worship. We also love the new auditorium, marriage hall and other amenities in this temple . Superb . The cafeteria is good .. there is also a small gift shop which is useful. Overall an amazing temple … Jai Balaji ..

Good Temple but run by people who are not sensible to the devotees. They need to be little bit more sensitive to the family and kids.

Food was good and tasty but they are reducing the qty which isn’t the right thing to do especially they have lot of people visiting the place and in good demand.

Grew up going here, its a peaceful place. They've done a lot of renovations in the past 20 years but it still has the same feeling. Some of the volunteers in the kitchen and temple are really rude though, there is a nice way to say things and get people to understand, but they just snap at you.

HI, I am seeing in youtube and whatsapp messages a biggest balaji temple in NJ, USA built with estimated cost of Rs 100 crores over more than 100 acres of land. Is the balaji temple at Bridgewater, NJ is same.
Or BAPS temple is being shown in whatsapp postings.
OR else what is the status of completion of the biggest balaji temple being built in USA.
I am not able to get the details through google. Shall be grateful if anyone clarify the same with clear address of th temple. I am on a personal visit to US and is interested to visit the biggest temple.

Unfortunately indian people are very bad/worst at sign boards/directions/info. That's the reason you didn't find it just like me and i finally end up in BAPS temple where i didnt see balaji in standing posture that i see in youtube after my trip and till now i dont see complete address or website. Just typed 100 crore temple and its giving pictures and greatly spent money and leading into guinness book of world record. I felt they also been added in same guinness book of records about luring poor workers from india and facing lawsuits for paying $1 per hour for $100 crore temple. Felt so shame. We really don't need to show up our hindu temple as richest but SHOULD LEARN AND SHOW UP RICH IN HUMANITY and thats what i expect to teach our kids in aksharadhamam instead of our culture that is never ever put to use in our daily life. thanks.

Parking space is available adequately in vicinity of the temple for cars. I'm unsure about the availability of any shuttle service there.

anyone did hair offering at this temple? I would like to get it done for my daughter but they will do only 3 cuts at temple.We have to get the total shave done at a saloon? does anyone know a place nearby who does this?
Is there a new indoor pool being completed on site?
