I thought I would see how this was even though it is a pretty far drive for me. It was okay, some good and some bad. It was pretty clean. The pretzel shop was probably the highlight. Pretzels were good, but wish I had tried one of the pretzel rolls with different food stuffed in it. The cheese shop was too busy to even look at what they had. The candy shop was way over priced. The bakery you need to watch what you buy, the donuts are good, but the bread is so dry and was stale and had mold in a couple of days. So best to just stick with the donuts,

This is a great place to shop for chicken, beef, sausage, pickles, sauerkraut, cheeses, pretzel, and cake and still so much more. Everybody is very friendly and tries to put your order together in the best ways imaginable. It is 90 minutes from Westchester, NY, and it is well worth the drive, as I freeze most of it. But for example, the chicken is so much better than most Supermarkets. To do a big shopping at 5 stands took me altogether close to 2 hours. Parking super easy.

I love the Dutch Country Farmers Market!
I love the sites, the foods, the selection, the nice and friendly people waiting on you and delicious pretzel booth and baked goods and all the delicious things you can bring home.
My aunt and I road trip down to Flemington for shopping and some lunch and we ended up staying over an hour here. I love the bakery here with all their homemade doughnuts, cookies and cakes. The Shoo Fly pie here is excellent. So are the doughnuts, breads and Whoopie pies that I brought home.
The prepared food section at the butcher shop, I bought a homemade chicken pot pie and chicken croquets that were both were excellent. The food and service at the butcher shop was wonderful and friendly as well.
It is a great experience to go shopping and talk to the merchants. It is a nice day out.

We found the Dutch Country Farmers Market by mistake and what a great find this was! This is an Amish market with Farm fresh meat! The aroma of fresh baked goods and seafood as well. There is also an attached hand made furniture shop with beautiful items.

The 1 in Kingston near Princeton is much larger with a much bigger selection and Amish feel to it.
Did get some good pumpkin fudge, wouldn't rush back.

Great place for an outing. Variety of foods and deserts. Great pretzels with stuffings. Pickles are a favorite. Good chicken wings. Pickled eggs. Amish deserts

I love coming to the Dutch Country Farmers Market. There is so much to see and sample and to eat!
The whole market is run by the Amish with the local Pennsylvania cuisine that is very popular with the customers. It is a lot of fun to shop here. The best part is that on the weekend is that they let you sample everything from cheeses to sausages to pickles. You can have a small snack just by walking around the market.
Still you will not leave with out eating or buying something. My best friend and I started at the pretzel stand sharing a cheesesteak and sausage and pepper stuffed pretzels and finished with some mini-hot dogs and glazed raisin bites which were a little piece of heaven. We finished the afternoon by sharing doughnuts, a banana cream and a glazed strawberry and just smiled and enjoyed them.
We ended up spending a lot of time and money eating our way around the building and it was not such a bad afternoon tasting pickles, spreads, roasted meats and cakes and it is a nice way to spend the afternoon.

The headline basically says it all.
As far as markets go, this place isn't too big, but every food stall is guaranteed to be an awesome culinary experience.
Pretzels:
You know that smell that wafts by when you pass by an Auntie Anne's? And maybe that smell even tempted you into buying a pretzel and sure, it was good, but not as good as your olfactory experience led you to hope? Well, the pretzels here are everything you've hoped for and more. I've eaten my fair share of pretzels in my life, and these are hands down the best. Kudos to the bakers.
Homemade donuts:
I'd compare it to Dunkin Donuts, but can't we all already agree that DD donuts are garbage? Meanwhile, the donuts at the Dutch Country Market are awesome.
Fried Chicken:
We got half regular / half Cajun style-- yum! And the potato logs were super delicious too. The gal suggested a serving size of one pound, to which I quietly scoffed that I couldn't possibly eat that many potato logs, so I ordered a quarter pound. Lesson learned: I could definitely have eaten a pound of them (not that you really should...)

Basic Amish based market and restaurant. Produce, baked goods, meats, salads etc. Average prices good amount of parking, nice and clean inside, easy to get around.

Went there on a Weekday and was still pretty busy. Fresh authentic stuff. Most of the stuff was organic and looked good and tasted fresh
