Sorry I've neen late on reviewing NJ Rep's most recent play - you only have another week to catch it - and catch it you must. I can't find words to best express the beauty of this play, so I will quote another critic "Eden Prairie, 1971 is a play which will live in memory long after it is seen. And I cannot more strongly encourage you to see it at least once before its brief run finishes. It is well worth making the trip to Long Branch and the stage of the New Jersey Repertory Company, and it is well worth taking the trip back in time to Eden Prairie, 1971" - Allen Neuner, Out In Jersey.com

"The Pin-Up Girls" by James Hindman and Jeffrey Lodin is must-see theater. Starring Pheonix Vaughn, Sara Glancy, Brittany Jeffery, and AJ Melnick, the show sizzles. A musical with heart and soul. Fun for the whole family. At last night's sneak preview, the audience went wild, standing ovation and cheering. If this is what it's like to return to live theater, I'm all in. Don't miss this one, and enjoy a nice walk at Pier Village while you are at it, visit the shops and fine restaurants. I especially like Simply Greek. See you at the theater!

A small, intimate playhouse that introduces new plays, this is a site to visit. If you love live theater, it's a pleasant way to spend time in the enjoyment of close contact with talented actors at a Jersey shore showplace. The play "The Forest" was the play performed when I visited.

If you haven't been to the New Jersey Repertory Company in Long Branch, what are you waiting for!? The award-winning, professional, year-round, boutique theater rocks with its current production "Lily" a world premiere that has been breaking all box-office records. Only one week remains - but their new season starts January 9, 2020 - and if it's anything like this past season - WOW! Sex, Drugs, and Rock 'n' Roll! What some other critics have said about "Lily" - "A new and powerful play about the powers of love and hate, repentance, and revenge. It is a play with more emotional honesty in its first five minutes than in the whole of some other plays. It is a play that must be experienced". - Out In Jersey.com It's one of the best shows I've seen on the NJ Rep stage. It's fascinating, clever, freewheeling and unpredictable. "It might possibly be the debut work of a hot new playwright. Perhaps an heir to Sam Shepard, but with more laughs". - Two River Times

Went to NJ Rep last night to see the first preview of Voyager One by Jared Michael Delaney and all I can say is “wow” - well actually, I can say more. The production values in this boutique theater are spectacular. If you ever in Long Branch, NJ, look them up.

If you love theatergoing while at the beach, then definitely check out the New Jersey Repertory Company. We saw a phenomenal production of a world premiere play called The Source, and were thrilled with the acting, the story, and the intimate feel of this 60 seat theater. We come back every year and look forward to seeing the productions this great theater company has to offer. Highly recommended.

Recently saw my first show at NJ Rep (Fern Hill). It was a great experience - the intimacy of the theater, welcoming staff and high quality performance are unique to any theater I've ever been to. Looking forward to returning for another performance soon.

Great, intimate theater that puts on very fine productions. Love going there every time we are in Long Branch. Saw fascinating one woman play, Wild Horses.

My family and I have seen numerous productions at NJ Rep in Long Branch. The acting is first rate and the plays have covered the gamut from comedy to serious drama. Only drawback is the cost. A bit pricey for local theatre.
