The staff seemed very bored. Read the room directions, monotone, off a paper. The room had a very “homemade” feel to it. Nothing flashy. When leaving, we saw another worker watching the monitors of another group, exclaiming in disgust “Oh come ONNNN!”, then looked started to see us standing there. It’s right at the lobby behind the counter so it’s not like people can’t see or hear how they are acting. They say you do not need any prior knowledge on the theme, but you did need to know a little more than average and thankfully one in our group did. We escaped and will not be returning. I gave it two stars because it was challenging although it was our least favorite experience in our history of participating in several escape rooms. As I said, first and last with this company.

I've done almost every room in South Jersey and Philadelphia. I've driven hours to a location to try a new room, and I've done over 50 rooms in the last 3 years.
This is the absolute worst experience I've ever had.
I booked both the Classic Arcade and Man in the Woods (Slenderman) rooms for a friend, and my girlfriend, for her birthday.
Man in the Woods is comprised of a small room, with painted black silhouettes of trees, some logs, WANTED POSTERS STAPLED TO THE WALLS and about 15 lock boxes, which comprised 95% of the total puzzles. Within about five minutes, we were told that they incorrectly placed one of the clues in a box we had opened, and that they would tell us when we would use the prematurely granted item. It took them about 5 minutes to remember that we had already used the 4 digit combination and were now at the point to use that premature item and apologized for the confusion we were experiencing.
None of the clues are cohesive, there are several overlapping lock box combinations at any given moment, there is nothing to indicate which clue proceeds to which element. There is absolutely no immersion in the atmosphere, as they just threw dirt on the carpet, placed some logs, and painted tree outlines. The staff was incoherent during their explanation, and inattentive during the game. At several times during Man in the Woods we asked for clues because we had the 3 digits required for a code, but there was no indication for an order - their response was simply to tell us the first number and alternate the 2nd and 3rd until it opened. There was no actual reason for the number order. It is not a PUZZLE to give players 3 numbers with no story structure to direct the sequence.
The door that is supposed to be an element of the forest just opens to an obvious office space, with a tent on the ground and some fingers dangling from yarn. How is this a thing?
Somehow Classic Arcade was even worse. The room consisted of stickers stapled to the walls, a magnet puzzle, and about 12 more lock boxes. Oh, and a Sonic Poster. Also, rooms are not supposed to require outside knowledge, but anyone who does not have genuine knowledge of video games CANNOT do the room. You can't have riddles that have one specific answer for a video game character and require that people know this. This room continued the progression of horrific puzzles with no cohesive structure and nothing to indicate where they direct. The entire room was a mess of lock box to lock box to lock box to lock box, and when there was something outside of this (black light) there was nothing to indicate the use.
We escaped the Man in the Woods with about 6 minutes left, and Classic Arcade with almost 25 but I don't even care that we won. There was no sense of accomplishment because there wasn't any fun or immersion or decoration.
If you want good rooms, go to Venture Escape, Think Solve Escape, Exit 4 Escape in Glassboro and Collingswood, Amazing Escape in Cherry Hill, or even Princeton.
This is exactly the type of location that ruins the reputation of significantly better escape rooms with owners who care, staff members who are attentive and considerate and personable, and games that are actually challenging for the right reason, not because they are an atrocious repetitive design with no care or pride in their business.

This is not an escape room. This is the lowest budget, GARBAGE experience that I have ever done. I am actually offended by the lack of effort put into these rooms, after having done 30+ rooms. The decor is sparse and beyond lazy, stickers are just stapled to the wall. No picture frames, no actual decor, just basic paint and things stapled to the wall. The clues make 0 sense and are impossible to figure out without help. The employees do not pay attention and you often have to ask for clues several times before they hear you. There is 0 attempt at any immersion in these rooms. You could replicate these rooms at home for less than $100, I am not exaggerating. I am truly dumbfounded at the complete and utter lack of pride and effort here. You are a stain on the business of escape room and I truly hope that you shut down so that no one else has to experience this complete garbage.

Game doesn’t lead you in a certain direction. There is no way to link clues together. The escape room premise is there, but it feels very random. When you find clues, nothing indicates how you might use it. The staff are friendly.

Adventures of Escaping was a great "escape" from daily life! Its nice to take time with friends and family outside of daily activities and have some fun. It was local and only an hour! Take time with your family today--and try something new and ADVENTURous!!

We took our daughter and some of her friends for her birthday. They had a great time! The Escape room itself was fun. The staff was friendly and courteous.

We went to nitemare room. Which was difficult and lots of fun. The problem is the room is dirty and furniture is broken. Glad i had a groupon and not pay full price

we had not been to an escape room before. We all enjoyed it and would definitely do it again. While the set-up was a bit unsophisticated, the end effect was the same.
